The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigations, has arrested a suspect involved in a robbery targeting a currency exchange branch in the Shaab area, following intensive search and investigation operations that led to his identification and arrest.
The incident began with a report received by the operations room stating that a currency exchange branch in the Shaab area had been robbed by an unidentified individual. Security authorities immediately responded and proceeded to the scene to take the necessary measures.
Employees stated that the suspect was masked and carrying a weapon, which was later found to be fake. He was also in possession of a container suspected to contain gasoline. The suspect threatened and assaulted several employees before entering the staff area and stealing approximately KD21,000 in various currencies, then fled the scene.
Search and investigation teams promptly launched operations upon receiving the report, utilizing advanced technical tools and modern security technologies. Intensive investigations and precise tracking led to the suspect’s identification in record time. He was found to be of Philippine nationality and was subsequently arrested, underscoring the readiness, efficiency, and swift response of security agencies in handling criminal cases.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed its vigilance against anyone attempting to commit such crimes or undermine public safety, stressing that the law will be firmly enforced against anyone who threatens the security of citizens and residents. It also confirmed that it will not hesitate to take all necessary legal actions against offenders. #الكويت

U.S. Strikes Iranian Control Site After Foiled Missile and Drone Attacks..

Three missiles launched toward Bahrain were immediately intercepted by and Bahraini air defense systems, while two Iranian missiles fired toward Kuwait either fell short or broke apart mid-flight.
Earlier, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces shot down three one-way attack drones launched by Iran targeting civilian maritime traffic in regional waters. In response, American forces also conducted self-defense strikes on an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island.
No U.S. personnel were harmed. CENTCOM forces remain vigilant and prepared to defend against any unwarranted Iranian aggression amid the ongoing ceasefire.
