MOI Bans During Midday Hours to Protect Workers from Heat..
Effective from Monday, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector, has announced a ban on the operation of consumer delivery motorcycles on all roads and across all areas from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., from June 1 to August 31, 2026. The measure implements the Public Authority for Manpower’s decision to prohibit work in open areas during midday hours.
Ministerial Resolution No. 3 of 2026 aims to protect workers from the risks of extreme heat and harsh weather conditions, promoting a safe working environment in line with labor regulations.
The Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector confirmed that legal action will be strictly enforced against violators, noting that failure to comply will result in penalties for breaching permit conditions. Employers were urged to fully adhere to the decision to ensure workers’ safety and reinforce workplace safety standards across the country. #الكويت
