فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلٰى مَوْتِهٖۤ اِلَّا دَآ بَّةُ الْاَ رْضِ تَأْ كُلُ مِنْسَاَ تَهُ ۚ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الْجِنُّ اَنْ لَّوْ كَا نُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ الْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوْا فِى الْعَذَا بِ الْمُهِيْنِ
Then when I caused the death of Sulaiman, the insect informed the jinn of his death, they were (slowly) eating Sulaiman's stick. When he fell, the jinn realized that if they (themselves) had been aware of the unseen, they would not have had to suffer the humiliating punishment.
(Saba' 34: Verse 14)
"অতঃপর আমি যখন সুলাইমানের মৃত্যু ঘটালাম, তখন ঘুণে পোকাই জ্বিনদেরকে তার মৃত্যু সম্পর্কে অবহিত করল, তারা (ধীরে ধীরে) সুলাইমানের লাঠি খেয়ে যাচ্ছিল। যখন সে পড়ে গেল তখন জ্বিনেরা বুঝতে পারল যে, তারা (নিজেরা) যদি অদৃশ্য বিষয় সম্পর্কে অবগত থাকত তাহলে তাদেরকে লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তির মধ্যে পড়ে থাকতে হত না।"
