DON’T FORGET YOUR PRIORITIES

Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day (Deuteronomy 8:11).

It’s very easy to forget what you're supposed to be doing for the Lord. I’m not just referring to individuals; even the Church in general can forget its priorities. Look at Church history; it only took three centuries from the inception of the Church for it to dominate the whole world. This was a phenomenal accomplishment in a day when communication and transportation were very slow.

In 324 AD, Emperor Constantine abolished the persecution of Christians, and just six years later, by 330 AD, he declared Christianity the religion of the world. The Church was happy about this and, for some reason, became too relaxed. They didn't see the urgency for evangelism because everything seemed fine. “Everyone’s kind of religious,” they thought, but Jesus didn’t come to establish a religion; He wanted men truly saved.

Thus, it’s important to always reappraise our priorities. The children of Israel forgot their priorities. The Bible tells us how God gave them the land He promised them. With it, He gave them rest; there was peace, and everything was fine. (Joshua 21:43-45). He however gave them a warning in Joshua 23:7-8: “That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day.”

The Israelites tried to heed this warning for a while but eventually got carried away and began to serve pagan gods. That's what happens when we're not winning souls: the Church begins to get worldly. Soon enough, we start getting interested in their attractive job offers and mouth-watering businesses. They keep pulling us until we start forgetting that we’re supposed to be soul winners.

That’s when you see Christians who can't come to church because they have to go to work on Sundays. Some stop coming to church because business is booming and they always have to travel. Such people have forgotten their priorities. Don’t let the world pull you to its attractions; don’t forget your priorities. Maintain the sanctity of your fellowship and devotion to Christ and to spiritual things. Keep winning souls. You’re first and foremost a Christian; let that be evident in everything about your life.

CONFESSION

What a joy to preach the glorious Gospel! The expansion of God’s Kingdom in the earth is my top priority, and I declare that nothing will distract me from channelling my energies towards turning men from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, making them citizens of God’s eternal Kingdom. Amen.

Deuteronomy 8:11-14 KJV
Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: 12 Lest [when] thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt [therein]; 13 And [when] thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; 14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bo***ge;

Matthew 6:33 KJV
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 08, 2025

BY FAITH, NOT BY THE LAW

PASTOR CHRIS

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law…That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13–14).

Redemption from the curse of the law, as read in our opening scripture, was for the Jews and not the Gentiles. Moreover, it wasn’t the end goal of salvation but the doorway into something greater: the blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit through faith. The Law could not make man righteous or give him eternal life. Only faith in Christ could accomplish that.

Paul reveals that Christ became a curse on the Cross so that the Jew might be free from the penalties of the Law. But that wasn’t all. He did it so that the blessing of Abraham—justification, favour, inheritance, and the Spirit—might come to the Gentiles. The Law worked on conditions; it was based on obedience.

For example, in Exodus 19:5, God said, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people….” But the blessing of Abraham operates by faith. It is not about qualifying through works but about receiving through faith: just as the Bible says that Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness (Romans 4:3).

Now, we who believe in Jesus are made righteous by faith and are partakers of the same blessing. That blessing includes the Spirit of God dwelling in us—guiding, empowering, and transforming us from within. This is why faith is so crucial in the New Testament. Romans 1:17 says, “…as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him….”

Without faith, you can’t receive the blessing or enjoy the inheritance. Your faith is the key to everything God has made available to you in Christ. So, live by faith! Talk faith, and respond in faith. Faith is the currency of our heavenly Kingdom. It’s our lifestyle: “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith….” (Galatians 3:11-12). The blessings of the New Testament are yours by faith.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. I walk in the blessing of Abraham, full of faith and led by the Spirit. My life is the expression of your grace, favour and righteousness. I enjoy all that Christ has made available to me. I flourish in every area of my life and fulfil your divine purpose with joy and power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Galatians 2:16 KJV
- Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 3:9-14 KJV
- So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10 - For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 - But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 - And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 - Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 - That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Romans 4:13-16 KJV
- For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, [was] not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
14 - For if they which are of the law [be] heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
15 - Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, [there is] no transgression.
16 - Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE
SEPTEMBER 7 2025

*REV. CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD*

If God gives a word, act on it and you will have results.

John 4:34
Jesus was telling his disciples what his true food was. To do the will of the Father and FINISH it.
It's time for us to finish the work.
Jesus started the work, the apostles continued.
In every generation, he gave them assignments.
For us, it's time to finish it.

Paul understood what it was to get an assignment from God do it and finish it. He had focus.
Acts 20:24
He said "I'm not letting anything distract me. None of these things move me... That I might finish my course with Joy".
Did he finish it? 2 Tim 4:7
Finish your course first, before you die of fly.
May God help every one of us to say this Faithfully.
A fight of faith is worth it.
When they say "the crusade will not happen" and you put your faith to work to ensure it happens inspite of the criticisms, etc. maybe you were even feeling so weak on your body, but you finished it. Then you can say "I have finished my course". (Not an educational course. Life is more than those subjects).

We still have a lot to do between now and the end of the year and we will do everything that's required.

What's God's plan? What is in God's mind for the Month of September?

John 6:12-13, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Mark 16:20
1 Corinthians 16:16, 1 Cor 3:9
This month is the month of Coordination.

Coordination:
The regulation of diverse elements into an integrated and harmonious operation.

The process of organizing people or groups so that they work together properly and well.

The harmonious functioning of parts for effective results.

This month, this is what God is leading us to do and expecting.
We are winning souls and we are gathering them together so nothing be lost. We are orchestrating everything at the spirit, bringing them together so that why become effective for God.
And while we're at this, we are working together with the Lord. Coworkers and partners together with him.
Hallelujah!
That's what we are doing this month.
The power of the Holy Ghost is helping us. Making things happen by the spirit.

Mark 16:20
The Lord working with them... Coordinating with them.
He was an effective member of the work. He didn't just leave it for them.
He said "I am with you always, even to the end of the age". He also said "wherever I am, there my servants will be gathered together$.
With him we are assured of absolute success.

1 Corinthians 3:9.
We are getting into a special phase of this work. In the last couple of weeks, come of you have been a part of the wonder conferences. But that was a Prelude to what about to happen.

Years ago, when I just started our in Lagos, I had a series of programs which we titled "the word on a mission". We were taking the word from place to place. We are about to see this at a much larger level.

Matthew 28:18-20
Make students of the nations.
Assuredly, He is with you always even unto the end of the age.
No matter what happens, don't be perturbed , don't be moved.
The preaching is one part (by the crusades) but we are entering into this other part of the commission and they are going pari-pasu. The teaching!
While we are doing the massive crusades, we are going to be moving tinto the massive teaching outreaches like this world has never known. God is trusting you. The hour has come
You are going to be explaining the gospel.
There is the teaching of the gospel and the explaining of the gospel
You teach them to practice the Christian doctrine. The life he has given us; what it is about. We cannot but do what God has asked us to do.
It's going to be so beautiful.
You beautiful the church through the teaching of the word. It's different from preaching.
Teach the essentials; How to live the gospel. The gospel of Jesus Christ.
And they will understand it.
When we say we have eternal life, a whole lot of Christians don't know what it's about and how to live it. Someone's got to teach it. You're going to teach it.

Jesus taught about how the Kingdom of God works and functions.
The more you focus on those things, the more you learn and understand them in the word. They become apparent to you.
The Christian life is the life to be lived. It's not religion. It's a life to live for God.
God doesn't exist for you. He made you. You exist for him. He made you to succeed; You'd better succeed.
I WILL FULFIL MY CALLING.
I WILL FINISH MY COURSE WITH JOY.

🌏💦THE GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME💦🌎
═══════════════

═══════════════
📖But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:7-8).
═══════════════
In these last days, it’s inspiring to see God’s children knowing more about the gifts of the Spirit than ever before. But one area where they’ve constantly made a mistake is in their interpretation of a gift mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12 as the word of knowledge. Incidentally, that’s the only place throughout the Scriptures where it is referred to as the word of knowledge. Every other time the gift was referenced, it was called knowledge, not word of knowledge.

What many wrongly call the gift of the word of knowledge is, in fact, the manifestation of the gift of prophecy. You’re not manifesting “knowledge” when you supernaturally know or speak something about somebody or events in his life; that’s prophecy, because prophecy reveals the secrets of men. The Bible says through prophecy, the secrets of a man’s heart are revealed (1 Corinthians 14:24-25). The gift of knowledge refers to the manifestation of spiritual knowledge of divine things which includes the cosmos.

The word “knowledge” in our opening verse is from the Greek, "Gnosis," which means scientific knowledge —knowledge that’s based on intellectual activity. This knowledge can be supernaturally imparted to you by the Spirit of God through this gift.

Think about it: God made the plants and the animals; He made the metals and everything there is in the world. He can teach you about them. He can give you supernatural knowledge in artificial intelligence, robotics, law, or medicine. The world is looking for solutions, and we’re the ones to provide them.

Christ, the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge, lives in you. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom and knowledge, lives in you; He teaches you all things and can supernaturally impart knowledge about anything to your spirit. Become more conscious of the ministry of the Spirit in your life. Be mindful of His power, presence, and His ability to impart solutions to your spirit that’ll change the world.

📖_...in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise_ *(Ephesians 1:13)*
═══════════════
The moment you received Christ, something remarkable happened: you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. This seal is not just a mark of identity; rather, it’s a declaration of ownership, protection and inheritance. In the realm of the Spirit, it identifies youas God’s peculiar treasure.

In ancient times, and even to this day, a seal denoted authority and authenticity. Kings sealed documents to signify that the contents carried their full backing. You might have heard of the *“Presidential Seal”*, which signifies the authority of your country or some other country’s president. In the same way, God placed His Spirit in you as proof that you’re fully His—marked for divine purpose and backed by heaven.

When you received the Holy Spirit, you received the *“earnest of our inheritance,”* that is, the down payment, the guarantee of everything that belongs to us in Christ (Ephesians 1:14).

Since God gave you His Spirit, it means He’s already given you His best. There is nothing else He would withhold from you. Therefore, refuse to walk through life hoping for acceptance or struggling to *“qualify.”* You’re already accepted, already qualified, already sealed. The Spirit in you is your access to divine wisdom, power and fellowship with God. He’s all that you could ever need; He’s God’s best.

He’s the fulfilment of the promise God made to Abraham that through Christ, the blessing and the Spirit would come upon the Gentiles. Recognize and respond to the Holy Spirit in your daily life. Listen to Him. Speak with Him. Acknowledge His presence. He is your Helper, your Teacher, your Advocate, your Strengthener, your Intercessor, your Standby, and your Guide. And because you’re sealed with Him, you’re divinely protected; you’re untouchable, preserved, empowered and distinguished for glory.

POSSESSING THE GATES OF YOUR ENEMIES

PASTOR CHRIS
..and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies (Genesis 22:17).

When God reaffirmed His covenant with Abraham after he offered Isaac, He made a profound promise: “...thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.” This wasn’t just about land or territory. In biblical terms, the “gate” of a city represented authority, governance and control. Therefore, to possess the gate means to take charge spiritually, economically and politically; to be in dominion.

That promise wasn't just for Abraham’s immediate descendants. Galatians 3:16 makes it clear: “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made…And to thy seed, which is Christ.” Being in Christ means you’re Abraham’s seed and a joint-heir of this promise. This means you’re not a victim of circumstances. You have dominion. You have authority over the adversary.

You’re empowered to dominate the systems of this world for the Kingdom of God. You can influence education, government, business, technology—whatever field God has placed you in. Take possession. Remember what the Bible says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12).

This is about inheritance, influence and victory. Exercise dominion in every area of your life and your world. You’re not here to barely survive—you’re here to reign! So, rise up and speak. Take possession through prayer, your faith-filled declarations, and action. Don’t watch evil dominate your environment; cast it out. Possess the “gates” through the authority in the Name of Jesus.

CONFESSION

I am Abraham’s seed and an heir of the promise. I possess the gates of my enemies. I take charge in my city, my nation, and my world. I influence systems and structures for the Kingdom of God. I walk in dominion and victory today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Matthew 16:18-19 KJV
- And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
