Kuwait Activates Emergency Plans, Assures Food Supply, Warns Against Rumors..
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today, Saturday, that emergency plans are ready and all precautionary measures to ensure food security have been initiated, affirming that market activity across the country remains normal.
The Ministry confirmed that the level of the country’s strategic food reserves is very reassuring and that consumers can easily obtain their needs.
The Ministry also reaffirmed its commitment to closely monitor markets and strategic reserves through its field teams, in light of ongoing regional developments.
It reassured both citizens and residents that essential food supplies remain available in markets, retail outlets, and storage facilities as usual.
It urged citizens and residents to verify information before sharing or publishing it, and to rely on official sources. The Ministry stressed that it will take all necessary legal action against those who spread rumors or circulate misleading and false news. #الكويت
