When we forge friendships across cultures and races, we open our eyes to new ways of seeing the world. We learn to celebrate not just our shared humanity but also the vibrant diversity that makes life so colorful.
These precious connections remind us that, while our appearances and experiences may vary, at our very core, we all seek love, respect, understanding, and joy.
I am not perfect, but I choose to commit to always learn to navigate life and be a better me. And to have such very special people who give me a place to call, βhomeβ, and make me feel loved and seen, despite my weaknesses, my heart is brimming with gratitude beyond words could ever say.
To my friends all over the world, thank you for teaching me the beauty of stepping outside my comfort zone and showing me the world through your eyes. Thank you for your kindness, your wisdom, and your unique traditions that have enriched my life in ways I never imagined.
