🔹 President Tokayev has outlined Kazakhstan’s key priorities for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the years ahead.
🛡️ Security remains high on the agenda. With the SCO representing nearly half of the world’s population, its members have a growing responsibility to support global stability, reduce military risks, prevent a new arms race, and avoid dangerous incidents.
💼 Trade and economic cooperation is another strategic priority, with trade among SCO members approaching $1 trillion. President Tokayev stressed the importance of building sustainable, long-term business ties.
🚆 Transport connectivity is also key. Kazakhstan proposes an SCO Transport Connectivity Strategy through 2035 to strengthen links between member states and unlock the potential of emerging trade routes.
🌍 President Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to take SCO cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
