Welcome to the first day of Huawei & Arispa!
Today’s program that ARISPA - الاتحاد العربي للانترنت والاتصالات and Huawei will bepresenting is mainly about the challenges andopportunities of cyber security and includes 4 richcybersecurity sessions focusing on 4 different yet interrelated topics.
The opening session will be led by Mr. Feras Bakour the Chairman of Arispa along with Dr. Talal Abou Ghazaleh Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazeleh Group,
Mr. Qian Minjian Chinese Ambassador in Lebanon,Dr. Khaled Wali Minister Plenipotentiary, and Mr.Johnny Korm the Lebanese Minister of Telecommunications.
As for the sessions’speakers, the first session entitled “Worldwide Challenges of Cyber Threats” has Dr.Bassel Al Khashi, Cyber Security Advisor, Mr. AliTamimi, General Manager Hayyan Horizons Information Technology, and moderated by Mr. Roland Abi Najem Cyber Security and DT Consultant.
The second session entitled “Cyber Security in theArab Region” will have Mrs. Hanady Karam COOP.O.TECH and Cyber Security Expert, Mr. Mohammed Alshobani CIO SAICO, and moderated by Mr.Charbel Chbeir Head of Governance Committe ISOC. Ms. Wafa Dahmani, ARFINIC StakeholderDevelopment Liaison, and Mr. Rudy Shouchany,President of Internet Governance Forum IGF, and Mr.Ibrahim Alshmranie, HUAWEI Cyber Security SeniorExpert, will be the third session’s speakers entitled“Industry Focus - Telecom Cyber Security”. Also, this
session will be moderated by Mr. Roland Abi Najem, aCyber Security and DT Consultant.
The last session will be led by Dr. Lina Oueidat,National ICT Coordinator, and Captain Elias Dagher,Cyber Crime Bureau ISF, and moderated by Mr.Charbel Chbeir, the Governance Committee ISOC.
