Once again, Gaza is being cut off from the world.

Following Iran’s missile attacks, Israel halted crossings and suspended the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, blocking a critical lifeline for a population already facing catastrophic conditions.

The people of Gaza did not launch those missiles.

They did not make the decisions that escalated tensions across the region.

Yet once again, they are the ones paying the price.

No food.

No medicine.
No aid.
No relief.

For more than two million Palestinians, humanitarian assistance is not optional.

It is survival.

Every day crossings remain closed means emptier shelves, overwhelmed hospitals and families pushed deeper into desperation.

Collective punishment does not bring security.

It only deepens suffering.

And while world leaders trade threats and missiles, ordinary Palestinians are left wondering how much more they are expected to endure.

Andrew Feinstein, former South African MP and anti-corruption campaigner, is calling for the cancellation of a London real estate event that allegedly markets property built on occupied Palestinian land.

His message was simple:

“Palestinian land is not for sale.”

Feinstein argues that allowing such events to take place normalises a reality in which Palestinian rights, homes and communities are treated as obstacles to be removed rather than people to be protected.

As Gaza burns and violence in the occupied West Bank continues to escalate, many are asking how land linked to occupation can still be marketed abroad as an investment opportunity.

Because for Palestinians, this is not real estate.

It is home.

And a home is not a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder.

Palestinian land is not for sale. SAY THAT OUT LOUD.

A baby was only seven months old.

Seven months of life.

Seven months of first smiles, first sounds and a future that should have stretched decades ahead.

Instead, that future was cut short.

Footage circulating online has reignited outrage after reportedly showing the fatal shooting of a 7-month-old Palestinian baby by Israeli soldiers.

Every child deserves the chance to grow up.
To walk.
To speak.
To go to school.
To dream about the future.

When an infant becomes a victim of conflict, something fundamental has gone terribly wrong.

Stephen Kapos, a Holocaust survivor, has drawn a powerful and deeply controversial comparison between what he witnessed in Europe during the 20th century and what he says is happening in Gaza today.

“What is happening in Gaza is a Holocaust. Gaza is an extermination camp because there is no way out other than dying.”

The words carry particular weight because they come from someone who survived one of history’s darkest chapters.

For Kapos, the horrors unfolding in Gaza are not abstract political debates.

They are scenes that remind him of the consequences of dehumanisation, collective punishment and a world that waits too long to act.

His remarks come as Gaza continues to face mass displacement, widespread destruction, hunger and a staggering civilian death toll.

While many will debate the language he used, his central message is harder to dismiss:

No people should be trapped, bombed, starved or denied basic human dignity.

And no government should be shielded from criticism when civilians are paying the highest price.

As the devastation in Gaza continues, voices from across the world—including Holocaust survivors themselves—are increasingly speaking out, warning that silence in the face of human suffering has never been on the right side of history.

A Christian Palestinian village came under attack.

Again.

Israeli settlers reportedly set fire to areas of Taybeh, the last entirely Christian Palestinian town in the occupied West Bank, using Molotov cocktails.

For residents, this was not an isolated incident.

It was another attack in a growing pattern of settler violence that has terrorised Palestinian communities across the West Bank while the world looks away.

Taybeh is known for its ancient churches, rich history and centuries-old Christian presence in Palestine.

Yet even this community has not been spared.

Homes, land and places of worship should never become targets.

And no family should have to fear waking up to flames outside their village.

As attacks by settlers continue to rise, many Palestinians are asking why there is still so little accountability for those responsible.

Because when violence is allowed to continue without consequences, it sends a dangerous message:

That some communities can be attacked with impunity.

The people of Taybeh deserve safety.

They deserve protection.

And they deserve the same outrage the world would show if this happened anywhere else.

For years, Palestinians have watched illegal settlements expand across the occupied West Bank while settler violence continued with little accountability.

Now, six countries are finally taking action.

The United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Norway have announced coordinated sanctions targeting individuals and networks accused of financing, enabling and carrying out settler violence against Palestinians.

The move comes amid record settlement expansion and escalating attacks against Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank.

For many Palestinians, the sanctions are long overdue.

Entire communities have faced intimidation, attacks, land seizures and displacement while much of the international community limited itself to statements of concern.

France’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said the six countries are prepared to take further measures if the Israeli government fails to address the violence.

France has also moved to ban Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, along with settler leaders and individuals linked to violence, from entering the country.

While sanctions alone will not end the occupation or stop the suffering on the ground, they represent a rare moment of international pressure on those accused of driving violence and illegal settlement expansion.

For years, Palestinians were told the world was watching.

The question now is whether these governments are finally prepared to do more than watch.

While Israeli leaders continue to speak about threats, Palestinians in Gaza continue to bury their dead.

Lebanese families continue to rebuild homes reduced to rubble.

And civilians on both sides of the border continue paying the price of a war they did not choose.For nearly two years, the region has been told that every new offensive, every new strike and every new escalation is necessary for security.

Yet security seems further away than ever.

More destruction.

More displacement.

More suffering.

Instead, he was turned away at a US airport.

Somali officials say it undermines football’s commitment to fairness, merit, and equal opportunity.

Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced a full ban on Israeli vessels crossing the Red Sea, saying the move is part of ongoing efforts to pressure Israel over its war on Gaza.

As Gaza continues to face bombardment, displacement and mass civilian suffering, anger across the region shows no sign of fading.

Because while world leaders issue statements and hold meetings, Palestinians in Gaza continue to bury their loved ones, search for food and struggle to survive.

The Red Sea has become another front in a conflict that Israel’s actions have pushed far beyond Gaza’s borders.

From Lebanon.
To Yemen.
To the wider Middle East.
The consequences continue to spread.

The message from Yemen was clear:

As long as Gaza remains under attack, business as usual will not continue.

And as the humanitarian catastrophe deepens, so too does the anger felt across the region.
