تنظم جمعية إنسان للبيئة والتنمية (HEAD) بالتعاون مع بلدية جبيل وبلدية البربارة حملة لتنظيف شاطئ جبيل والبربارة، بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للبيئة واليوم العالمي للبحار 2026، وذلك ضمن أنشطة شبكة ليغامبينتي (Legambiente) في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط، والتي تمتد إلى 21 دولة لتعزيز العمل البيئي المشترك وحماية النظم البيئية البحرية.
وستقام الحملة يوم الأحد الواقع في 7 حزيران 2026 على النحو التالي:
📍 ميناء جبيل الأثري – الساعة 9:30 صباحاً
📍 ميناء البربارة – الساعة 9:00 صباحاً
وتهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تعزيز الوعي البيئي وتشجيع المشاركة المجتمعية في حماية الشاطئ والبيئة البحرية، إضافةً إلى الحد من التلوث والمحافظة على جمال ونظافة مدينة جبيل وتراثها البحري.
كما تأتي هذه الحملة تأكيداً على أهمية العمل الجماعي والتطوعي في مواجهة التحديات البيئية، وتعزيز ثقافة الاستدامة والمسؤولية البيئية لدى الشباب والمجتمع المحلي.
وتدعو الجهات المنظمة جميع المهتمين والمتطوعين للمشاركة الفاعلة في هذه المبادرة والمساهمة في الحفاظ على نظافة الشاطئ والبيئة البحرية للأجيال القادمة.

The Human Environmental Association for Development (HEAD), in cooperation with the Byblos Municipality and the Barbara Municipality, is organizing a beach cleaning campaign at the Byblos and Barbara coastlines on the occasion of World Environment Day and World Oceans Day 2026. The activity is held within the framework of the Legambiente Mediterranean network, which spans 21 countries, promoting joint environmental action and the protection of marine ecosystems across the region.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026 as follows:
📍 Historic Byblos Port – 9:30 a.m.
📍 Barbara Port – 9:00 a.m.
This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness and encourage community participation in protecting the beach and marine environment, while reducing pollution and preserving the beauty, cleanliness, and maritime heritage of the city of Byblos.
The campaign also highlights the importance of collective and volunteer action in addressing environmental challenges and promoting a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility among youth and the local community.
The organizers invite all interested individuals and volunteers to actively participate in this initiative and contribute to preserving the cleanliness of the beach and marine environment for future generations.
