Karim Barza, son of celebrity chef Joe Barza, has opened the second branch of his food concept, Ciaowarma, in Zalka, offering a fresh take on the classic shawarma. The new outlet features options such as lettuce wraps, gluten-free bread, and traditional saj bread, catering to diverse dietary preferences. On weekends, the branch operates until 3 AM, positioning itself as a go-to post-party destination.

Barza explained the concept behind Ciaowarma: “We serve a ‘clean’ shawarma, using small skewers portioned for each sandwich to ensure freshness and quality. Instead of the traditional vertical skewer, the meat is grilled in a Josper charcoal oven, imparting a distinct smoky flavor to each serving.”
