The Caribbean Network of Service Coalitions

The Caribbean Network of Service Coalitions Ultimately, the network’s interest is in the development of the region’s services industries.

The Caribbean Network of Service Coalitions (CNSC) unifies the region’s service organizations in an effort to raise awareness on services issues, generate support at national and regional levels and share best practices. In December 2010, the regional coalition champions came together in Barbados under a Pro€Invest funded coalition-strengthening project and reaffirmed and deepened their relationsh

ip with each other through the establishment of a formalized grouping, the Caribbean Network of Service Coalitions (CNSC), a network of the existing, independent coalitions. The CNSC will result in closer collaboration among the region’s service organizations in an effort to raise awareness on services issues, including joint lobbying and advocacy efforts, generate support at national and regional levels for the coalition movement and to share best practices. The CNSC has secured support from the German International Development Agency towards these efforts in a project that seeks to:
• Raise of awareness on services issues in the region through assistance with the development and maintenance of a CNSC website, newsletter and magazine;
• Offer technical support to fledgling coalitions with respect to best practices;
• Support the joint efforts of the CNSC.

To all service providers in Cariforum, participate! Your insight will help the Coalitions in the Caribbean and Caribbean Export design better services and programme to help you tap into US and other markets!

Dear Valued Members and Stakeholders,

The Caribbean Export Development Agency has commissioned a study to assess the experiences of service providers and firms in expanding into the US market. The survey is being undertaken by the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI) and Manchester Trade. We welcome your feedback since this will enable us to design policies and programmes that meet your needs in exporting into the US market. The survey would take approximately between 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Did you participate in the Services Go Global Training Programme in 2020 or 2021?

If you answered yes then you are eligible to apply for the Inaugural Caribbean Lawrence Placide Award.

About the award:

The Award was named in honour of the first President of the TTCSI, Lawrence Placide. Larry, as he was known by many, was a keen advocate for the development of the services sector nationally and regionally. He was the foremost authority on trade in services in the
