🇱🇰❤️ Standing with Sri Lanka
These past days have been heartbreaking for our country. Watching the floods, the loss, and the struggle from outside the country is one of the hardest feelings I’ve ever had. My thoughts and prayers are with every family affected, and with those who lost their loved ones.
A special salute to the brave soldier who sacrificed his life while flying the rescue helicopter. Your courage will never be forgotten. 🙏🕊️
To everyone on the ground volunteers, rescue teams, the forces, the communities supporting each other , thank you for your strength. I also did what I could from here, and I’ll keep supporting however possible.
As a Sri Lankan living abroad, it’s been extremely hard to watch these disasters unfold back home.
And to the countries standing with us during this critical time India, Japan, USA, UK, Australia, UAE, Maldives and all others offering help. We are truly grateful. 🌍❤️
