Media 42nd - Royal College Scout Group

Library Renovation Project organized by Senior Scout Hirun Senevirathne of 42nd Colombo, Royal College was held on the 15th of June 2024 at the Soysapura Public Library, Moratuwa.
Cleaning and polishing the floor, painting walls, rearranging and cleaning book racks and furniture, installing notice boards, and planting and placing indoor plants inside the library were done with the participation of Senior Scouts of the Royal College Scout Group.
The service rendered through this Community Service Project was highly appreciated by the citizens and government authorities. We hope our initiative will surely pave the way to uplift the education of neighboring citizens while providing a safe and pleasant Library Environment.

As You Believe, So You Become
This is a fantastic photo taken at a different angle. The photographer had done several things to enhance the quality of the picture. He has chosen a low angle. The composition is also excellent with 7 people included. The moment of capture has been perfectly timed with nice facial expressions. Above all, to prevent the faces from being underexposed he has used a flash/illumination from ground level up.

Shramadana Campaign and Health Clinic organized by Senior Scout Aritha Alahakoon of 42nd Colombo, Royal College Scout Group, was held on 23rd of September, 2023 at Sri Suramyarama Purana Viharaya, Madinnagoda.
Painting the walls, shrine room and oil lamp shelter, cleaning and weeding the temple grounds, and conducting a health clinic for the resident priests, helpers, devotees and villagers were done by this Community Service Project for the President’s Scout Award.
