🔴 රටේ අලුත් අගමැතිවරයා ලෙස Ranil Wickremesinghe පත්වීම ගැන අදහස් දක්වන වෙරිටේ රිසර්ච් විධායක අධ්‍යක්ෂ ආචාර්ය නිශාන් ද මෙල්, ප්‍රධාන කරුණු දෙකක් ගෙනහැර දක්වනවා.

2️ දැනට පවතින ව්‍යවස්ථා සම්පාදන යටතේ, රට යන අත තීරණය වන්නේ ජනපතිවරයාගේ අදහස් සහ මතිමතාන්තර අනුව නිසාම, මේ සංවාදයේ දී, වැදගත් වන්නේ අගමැතිවරයා නොව ජනපතිවරයා බව. එනිසා, අගමැතිවරයා වෙනස් වූවාය කියා රටේ වෙනසක් සිදුවෙතැයි සිතීමට හැකියාවක් නොමැති බව

The organisational capacity of CSOs moderately declined in 2020 due to pandemic-related constrains on CSO capacity and activities.

Although there is an increased shift in internet-based tech, some rural CSOs continued to lack sufficient resources.

The legal environment for CSOs experienced significant levels of deterioration from a score of 4.6 in 2019 to a score of 4.9 in 2020, which was due to ad hoc regulations around CSO registration and increased state scrutiny and harassment of CSOs.

The CSOSI Asia report 2020 contains the assessment of Sri Lanka along with several other countries in Asia. This report finds that in 2020 Sri Lanka's overall Sustainability Index moderately declined to a score of 4.8 from the score 4.6 recorded in the previous year, thereby, remaining under the category of 'Sustainability Evolving'.

Of the eight Asian countries that were reviewed in 2020, Sri Lanka was the only country to record declines in every dimension in 2020.
