17 years ago when the English music scene in the country was devoid of originality, TNL said 'Let there be rock'. And there was Tnl Onstage, introducing musicians, lyrics and melodies that was all ours, distinctly and unapologetically Sri Lankan.

That initial spark has now spiralled into a platform that caters to music of all sorts: ONSTAGE has gone from recognising bands and solo artists to DJs. Today, the impact of the seminal ONSTAGE brand can be seen in bars and concert halls all over Colombo. No longer are Sri Lankan musicians coming together to cover their favourite music, they are creating their own.
