Started in 2009, Siyatha TV was the only channel in Sri Lanka to start the transmission with all island coverage terrestrially and simultaneously on satellite through their own DTH platform. Siyatha TV from the inception of its operations in Sri Lanka catered to the objective of providing quality entertainment and information to the masses of Sri Lanka through innovative formatting. The variety of programming aimed at families were well received by the television spectators of Sri Lanka.
On 15 February 2017, the parent company Voice of Asia Network (Pvt) Ltd had their network relaunch to showcase all their media brands revamped to suit the new day and age with cutting edge technology, Siyatha TV, revamped their entire line-up of programs and the look and feel of the TV station along with novel concepts and styles becoming the First and the only Ultra HD 4K Television Channel in Sri Lanka.
ශ්රී ලංකේය ටෙලිවිෂන් වංශකතාව තුල නවමු පිටුවක් සියත ටිවී නමින් සටහන් කිරීමට 2009 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 17 වන ශුභ දින පියවර තැබුවේ ඉමහත් ප්රේක්ෂක ප්‍රතිචාර මැද්දේය. ඒ රුපවාහිනී නව්යකරණයේ මානයන් සොයා යන්නය, අපේ උරුමයන් සොයා යන්නය,දරුවන්ට අලුත් දේ කියා දෙන්නටත්, තාරුණ්යට සිත් සේ ජීවිතය ගොඩනගා ගන්නටත් වැඩිහිටි පරම්පරාවට ගරුත්වයකින් යුතුව ජීවිතය දකින්නටත් අපි කියා දෙන්නෙමු. ඇසි දිසි උරුමය සොයා යන අප සැමදා ඔබ සමගයි
