He was the cherished husband of Shirani Kanaka and loving father of Tuan Rahman Hamid.Loving son of late Tuan Saam Hamid and Late Zam Zam Hamid of Nawalapitiya. Beloved brother of Late Binthan Azeez, Tony Hamid, Late Suraj Hamid, Berty Hamid, Mehar Saipideen, Late Inthan Hamid and Tuan Rameen Hamid.
