On 1st August 2026, the Prefects of Hindu College Colombo participated in a leadership programme held at the Sangaralingam Hall. Organised by the Past Head Prefects of Hindu College Colombo, the programme aimed to strengthen leadership, teamwork, and personal development.

Through engaging sessions and interactive activities, the Prefects enhanced their confidence, collaboration, and leadership skills while gaining valuable insights.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Past Head Prefects for organising this initiative and to our Principal, Mrs. Vasuki Suthahar, whose vision and initiative made this valuable programme possible.

A leadership workshop for the student leaders of Hindu College Colombo, Ramanathan Hindu Ladies' College, and Vivekananda College was successfully held on 31st July 2026 at the Saraswathi Hall, Bambalapitiya.

Organized by the Ministry of Education, the workshop featured engaging activities, interactive games, and collaborative sessions that strengthened leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

The beloved mother of Y.Agaskar, a student of the 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level Tamil Medium Mathematics Stream at our school, has passed away.
