Continuing the Rivalry. Rekindling the Tradition.

Following the discussion held yesterday with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Prof. Vajira Dissanayake, it was tentatively agreed to schedule the Law-Medical Encounter for November. The timeline and sports are currently under discussion and will be confirmed in due time.

Preliminary discussions were also held on reviving the iconic Law-Medical Ball, with plans underway to transform it into a truly memorable event.

The Law College delegation at the meeting comprised the Principal, Deputy Principal, and officials of the Law Students’ Union.

The Law Students’ Union of Sri Lanka today officially handed over newly acquired sports equipment to the sports teams of Sri Lanka Law College.

The event was graced by Mr. Shehan C. Perera, Attorney-at-Law and Deputy Principal of Sri Lanka Law College.

As part of this initiative, the Union has also taken steps to allocate funds for court bookings to ensure regular sports practices.

The Law Students’ Union extends its sincere gratitude to the Incorporated Council of Legal Education and the College Administration for their continued support and for allocating funds towards the enhancement of college sports.
