On this International Day of Peace, we are reminded that peace begins with us — in our classrooms, our homes, our communities, and in the choices we make every day.

May we learn to understand before we judge, to forgive before we hold on, and to build bridges where there are walls.

Our U19 Division I Tier A cricket team takes on Prince of Wales’ College in the Limited Overs Tournament 2026.

Date: 22nd September
Time: 9.30 am onwards
Venue: Cambell Park

A new challenge awaits, and our boys will be ready to step up, compete hard, and carry the Double Blue onto the field.

Before there was Wesley College, there was John Wesley.

A preacher, teacher and the founder of the Methodist movement, John Wesley’s work would go on to reach far beyond 18th-century England — eventually making its way to Ceylon and laying part of the foundation for the story we know today.

But who exactly was the man behind the name?

In the first chapter of Past and Present Kindly Meet, we go back to the beginning and meet the man whose name would become part of Wesley’s identity.

Because to understand Wesley, we first have to understand Wesley.

A new chapter begins as a new batch of young Cub Scouts take their first steps into the world of Scouting.

The Cub Scouts Investiture marked a special occasion as our Cubs proudly made their oath and were formally welcomed into the Wesley Scouting family.

May they grow with courage, discipline, service, and fellowship, carrying the spirit of Scouting wherever they go.

And young Cub Scouts, always remember: Be Prepared, in mind, in body, for anything; the Wesley fraternity will always back you up.

Double Silver for Wesley!

A proud day for Wesley College as R.M.K.S. Bandara (55 kg) and T. Siddarthan (65 kg) secured All-Island Silver Medals at the Sri Lanka Schools Boxing Association Inter-School Boxing Championship 2026, competing in their respective age categories.

Both boxers also earned the Dr. Anuruddha Shanaka Bandara Challenge Trophy for their outstanding performances.

Congratulations, boys! Keep fighting, keep rising, and keep making Wesley proud.

The Under-17 Basketball Team of Wesley College will be taking on the best school teams from across the island at the All-Island National Schools Basketball Tournament 2026, from 18th to 21st September 2026.

We wish our young Wesleyites the very best as they take to the court. Play with pride, fight for every point, and make Wesley proud!

We also invite all Wesley Old Boys to come along, get behind our boys, and make your voices heard from the stands. Your support can make all the difference!
