Joe Jonas has shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift's latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.

The Jonas Brothers star has praised Taylor's 12th studio album, which was released on 3 October.

"I've heard some of it," Joe told Esquire during a recent interview. "I think she's obviously the biggest artist out there."

The Waffle House hitmaker went on to acknowledge that "everybody's got an opinion" on the record.

"I think it's good," he told the publication of the album. "Everybody's got an opinion about it, but from what I've heard, there are some catchy melodies."

Joe, 36, and Taylor, 35, dated briefly before splitting in 2008. Following their breakup, fans speculated that several of Taylor's songs were inspired by their short-lived romance, including Mr. Perfectly Fine, Better Than Revenge, and Forever and Always.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show shortly after the split, Taylor famously claimed that Joe had ended their relationship in a 25-second phone call.

"It's like, when I find that person that is is right for me and he'll be wonderful and when I look at that person I'm not even going to be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18," she said at the time.

The Bad Blood hitmaker later became close friends with Joe's now ex-wife, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. The former couple divorced in 2024 after four years of marriage.

Taylor announced in late August that she is engaged to American football star Travis Kelce.

Sabrina Carpenter addresses album controversy and performs two hit singles on ‘SNL’

The singer, who recently topped the charts with her album Man’s Best Friend, appeared as a musical guest in May 2024 but has never hosted before. On October 18th, the pop superstar opened with a monologue that reminisced, “Last time I was here for the 50th anniversary, where I got to sing with Paul Simon, and since then my new album, Man’s Best Friend, came out.”

She added, “Some people got a little, like, freaked out by the cover. I’m not sure why. It was just this,” she laughed, as the show cut to the controversial album cover, which depicts the Disney star on all fours, with an unfaced figure pulling at her hair.

“What they don’t realise is this is just how they’ve cropped it. If you zoom out, it’s clearly a picture from the 50th anniversary special of Bowen helping me up by the hair, after Martin Short shoved me out of the buffet line,” She finished.

Keith Urban had a hilarious interaction with a fan amid his divorce from Nicole Kidman.

The "Blue Ain't Your Color" singer collapsed on stage after an audience member at his Nashville show on Friday revealed her name to him.

"What's your name?" Urban asked the concertgoer, holding out a microphone, as shown in a video shared by media agency Nashville XP.

After the fan responded quietly outside the range of the mic, Urban asked, "What? I'm not going to like your name? What?"

The fan then revealed, "It's Nicole."

Urban threw his head back as he laughed at the coincidence, then took a moment to lie on his back on the stage to recover from the news.

Britney Spears responded to excerpts from her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s upcoming memoir, saying he is "gaslighting" her after he wrote that he is concerned about what he called the pop star’s erratic actions since she was released from her conservatorship in 2021.

Federline wrote in his upcoming memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” that he has learned chiefly of his ex-wife’s behavior from their two sons, according to excerpts published in The New York Times on Oct. 14.

"The constant gaslighting from ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting," Spears wrote on X Wednesday night. "I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys."

She said she only chose to speak out "because I have had enough and any real woman would do the same."
