Anthony’s, we continue to stand strong as Group ’93.β€οΈπŸ©΅πŸ’™ We are a group of past students of St. Anthony's College, Kandy, passed out in 1993. As small lads, we joined the College in 1980 and during the days at the primary department, to the upper school, '93 Antonians showed their talent in Sports, Studies as well as in Extra-Curricular activities. Group 93 inaugural AGM August 5, 1994In G.C.E A/L

examination results, Group 93 created history of St. Anthony’s by producing the largest number of students entering the Universities from a batch. Out of around 120 students sat for the A/Ls, ten entered to the Engineering Faculty, six to the Medical College, and many more to various other fields in Universities here and abroad. On 5th August 1994, in the inaugural meeting held at the β€˜O.B.A Club House’, we formed the 'Antonians Group 93'. The meeting was well attended with the participation of 82 members in which Ajaz Shafeek became the first elected President while Krishantha Jayawardena and Priyanka Weerasinghe were elected as the Secretary and the Treasurer, respectively. Patrons of the Group are Rev.Fr. Stephen Abraham and Mr. Senarath Weerasekara, who still remain as Patrons, along with the Rev.Fr.

A dominant all-round performance saw Sri Lanka A cruise to a commanding 103-run victory over Afghanistan A in the Tri-Nation A Series at Dambulla.

Batting first, Sri Lanka A piled up 322/8 in 50 overs, setting a daunting target for the visitors. The Lankan batsmen laid a solid foundation before accelerating brilliantly in the latter stages of the innings.
