Endeavor Air’s CRJ-900 N302PQ, the jet that lost its vertical stabilizer when a Delta A350-900 (N503DN) clipped it on the taxiway at Atlanta on September 10, 2024, is flying again with a brand-new tail assembly. Fresh spotting and industry coverage confirm the structural repair and return to service, following the NTSB’s preliminary report that the A350’s right wing struck the CRJ’s tail as both aircraft taxied at ATL.
What’s new now: The aircraft received a replacement vertical stabilizer and related components before rejoining the fleet; Delta’s A350 involved in the incident also returned to service earlier this year after its own repairs. The NTSB investigation remains open.
