වස්සාන ඍතුවේ අවසාන පොහොය ඉල් පුන් පොහොය යි. මෛත්‍රෙය බෝධිසත්ත්වයන් වහන්සේ විවරණ ලැබීම, ප්‍රථම ධර්මදූත පිරිස ධර්ම ප්‍රචාරය සඳහා ගමනාරම්භ කිරීම, බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ තුන් බෑ ජටිලයන් දමනය කරනු වස් උරුවෙල් දනව් බලා වැඩම කිරීම, පසුවස් පවාරණය කළ යුතු දිනය වීම, චීවර මාසයේ අන්තිම පොහොය එනම් කඨිනාස්තරණ විනය කර්මය කළ හැකි අවසාන දිනය වීම, අගසව් සැරියුත් මාහිමියන්ගේ පරිනිර්වාණය සිදු වීම යනාදී සම්බුද්ධ ශාසන ඉතිහාසයෙහි අනුස්මරණීය සිද්ධීන් කිහිපයකට මුල් වුණු ශ්‍රෙෂ්ඨ දිනයකි.

Maliyadeva College marked its 137th Founders’ Day, celebrating over a century of excellence, leadership, and brotherhood.

The event was organized with immense dedication by the Maliyadeva College Media Unit, together with the Prefects’ Board, Scout Group, and Photographic Society. This remarkable collaboration reflected the true Devian spirit — unity, commitment, and pride in every step.
