Today we commemorate Esala Poya, also known as Dharma Day — the sacred moment when Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at the Deer Park in Sarnath, unveiling the Four Noble Truths and setting the Wheel of Dhamma in motion. 🌿

This historic discourse not only laid the foundation of Buddhist philosophy, but also marked the beginning of the Sangha, the noble order of monks.

Let us reflect on the path shown — from suffering to liberation, from craving to contentment — and strive to walk the Noble Eightfold Path with mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom.

🪔 May this Poya bring clarity, peace, and purpose to your journey.

We launched a call.
Just one answer came.
And it happened to be a poem about silence. About people not showing up. About voices being ignored.

We didn’t plan this.
We didn’t stage it.
It just... happened.

And maybe that’s the realest thing we’ve ever seen.

Project Nexum: What Happened?
We asked for voices.
We got silence.

Not a failure —
A revelation.

🎙️ On Air with Leadership

The Media Club of Royal International School, Kurunegala had the distinct honor of hosting Lt. Col. Nissanka Wijekoon, our esteemed Deputy Principal, for a special radio broadcasting session. 📻✨

In this engaging exchange, we delved into leadership insights, educational journeys, and the evolving role of media in today's world. A truly inspiring experience that brought voices together and ideas to the forefront.
