පහල තියෙන්නේ අඩු වියදමකින් හෝ නොමිලේ කරන්න පුළුවං IT Degrees. මීට අමතරව මට මග ඇරුනු ඒවා තියෙනවා නම් පහලෙන් comment කරන්න මම post එක update කරන්නම්.
1. Bachelor of Information Technology (UCSC)
මේ programme එක කරන්නේ කොලඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන්. ඔයාට A/L 3 passes නැති උනත් foundation course (FIT) එකක් කරලා කරන්න පුළුවං external degree එකක් මේක. හැබැයි ගොඩක් වෙලාවට වෙනම private class එක්කට යන්න වෙනවා ඔයාට ඉගෙන ගන්න. යන වියදම ගැන බලද්දී ඒ ගැනත් සැලකිලිමත් වෙන්න. ගොඩක් වෙලාවට වැඩිම වියදම යන්නේ ඒකට.

2. BIT (UOM)
මේ programme එක කරන්නේ මොරටුව විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන්. BIT (UCSC) එක වගේම ගොඩක් වෙලාවට වෙනම private class එක්කට යන්න වෙනවා ඔයාට ඉගෙන ගන්න. යන වියදම ගැන බලද්දී ඒ ගැනත් සැලකිලිමත් වෙන්න.

- Course duration: 3 years
- Entry requirements: මේකට විදි දෙකකින් ඇතුල් වෙන්න පුළුවං, Regular Entry සහ Lateral Entry කියන විදි දෙකෙන්ම.
Regular: 3 passes in A/L and credit pass for Mathematics in O/L

3. Open University
මේ programme එක කරන්නේ විවෘත විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන්. මේක විශ්ව විද්‍යාලය තුලින්ම කරන්න පුළුවං ගොඩක් හොද degree programme එකක්. ලංකාවේ ඕනම තැනක තියෙන open univeristy එකකින් කරන්න පුළුවං distance learning facility එක මගින්.
හැබැයි මං හිතනවා ලමයි ගොඩක් ඉන්න නාවල වගේ තියෙන uiveristy එකෙන් කරන්න පුළුවන්නම් හොද exposure එකක් ගන්න පුළුවං කියලා (personal opinion).
මේ programme එකේ entry requirment එක පොඩ්ඩක් වෙනස් වෙනෙවා කරන specilization එකත් එක්ක. පහල තියෙන link එකට ගිහින් වැඩි විස්තර බලන්න. (Specializations: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems)

4. Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) scholarship
මේක scholarship එකක් නිසා ඇතුල් වීම තරගකාරීයි. මම දන්න විදියට January (2024) intake එකේ applications අරගෙන ඉවරයි හැබැයි. පහල තියෙන එකට ගිහින් වැඩි විස්තර බලන්න.

5. SLIIT/IFS scholarship
මේක පොඩ්ඩක් වෙනස් විදියේ programme එකක්. IFS කියන software company එකයි SLIIT එකයි එකතු වෙලා කරන programme එකක්. මේකදී වෙන්නේ IFS එකේ part-time වැඩ කරන ගමන්, ඔයාට degree එක කරන්න පූළුවං. Experience ගන්න ගමන් කරන්න පුළුවං හොද programme එකක්.
මේකට තෝරාගන්නේ SLIIT Aptitude test එකෙන් වැඩිම marks ගන්න අය. 2nd year and 3rd year වෙද්දි අපාහු apply කරන්න ඕන, එතකොට GPA එක consider කරලා interview එකෙන් වෙනම select කරනවා. මේක perfomance based scholorship එකක්.
මීට අමතරව SLIIT එකේ තවත් scholorships කිපයක් තියෙනවා outstanding performances (Accadamic or Sports) වලට දෙන. පහල link එකෙන් වැඩි විස්තර බලන්න.

6. BCS (British Computer Society)
මේක degree එකට සමාන විදියට පිලිගන්න (equivalent) professional qualification එකක්. BIT එක වගේම මේකට class ගිහින් sylabuss එක කරගන්න වෙනවා, මේක international එකක් හින්දා ඉගෙන ගන්න online resources ගොඩක් තියෙන හින්දා ඔයාට ඕන්නම් self studies කරන්න පුළුවං.
මේක පොඩ්ඩක් අමාරුයි, හොද decipline එකක් තියෙන්න ඕන BCS Professional Graduate Diploma in IT වෙනකම්ම කරගෙන යන්න.
- Intake deadline: N/A
- Course duration: මේක ගොඩක් ඔයාගේ capacity එකයි effort එකයි අනුව වෙනස් වෙනවා. සාමාන්‍යන් අවුරුදු 2ත් 3ත් අතර කාලයක් යනවා කියලා කියන්න පුළුවං.
- Examination Fee: ~ $ 365
- Entry requirements for exams: BCS member
- Special note: BCS එකෙන් මේ HEQ එක discontinue කරන යනවා 2026 දී. ඊට කලින් exams කරන්න වෙනවා, 2026 න් පස්සේ කොයි වගේ programme එකක් එයාලා කරන්න යනවද කියලා දන්නේ නෑ. මේ section එකේ අන්තිම link එකේ ඒක ගැන තියෙනවා.

6. Bachelor of Technology in Software Technology (University of Vocational Technology)
මේ programme එකට තාම මේ අවුරුද්දේ applications call කරලා නෑ. මේකට අදාල ගිය අවුරුද්දේ විස්තර පහල ilnks වලින් බලන්න. A/L IT කරපු අයට මේකේ entry requirments වල විශේෂ වාසියක් තියෙනවා.
Full-time කරනවා නම් degree එක නොමිලේ කරන්න පුළුවං. Admission fees, Library fees වගේ දේවල් ටිකට රු 26,000 ට ආසන්න මුදලක් වැය වෙනෙවා අමතරව.
Part-time කරන්නවා නම් 130,000 වගේ මුදලක් යනවා. ඔයා වෙන job එකක් කරන ගමන් කරන්න පුළුවං.
මේ programme එකට අමතරව B.Tech in software, Network & Multimedia කියලා degree කිහිපයක් තියෙනවා වැඩි ව්ස්තර පහල කියෙන ilnk එකෙන් බලන්න.

8. Government student loan

මීට අමතරව බණක් විදියට කියන්න තියෙන්නේ, කරන්න දෙයක් නැති කමට IT degree එකක් කරන්න එපා. Passionate නැතුව කරන්න ගියාම එකක් එපා වෙනවා, අනිත් එක ඉස්සරහට යන්න අමාරුයි.
