மார்ச் மாதத்தில் தொழிலாளர்கள் ஒரு நாளைக்கு ரூ. 1,000 என்ற புதிய ஊதிய விகிதத்தின்படி தங்கள் சம்பளத்தைப் பெற்றனர், ஆனால் இந்த நேர்மறை நிலைமை குறுகிய காலமே நீடித்தது. 2021 மே மாதத்தில் அவர்கள் 27 நாட்கள் வேலை செய்தபோதிலும், வெறும் ரூ. 10,250 மட்டுமே பெற்றுள்ளனர். இது மார்ச் மாதத்தில் பெறப்பட்ட மொத்த ஊதியத்துடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது கிட்டத்தட்ட 58 வீதம் குறைவாகும், அதேபோல் தினசரி ஊதியம் ரூ. 1,000 விகிதம் வழங்கப்படுவதற்கு முந்தைய ஊதியத்துடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது இது 28 வீதம் குறைவாகும்.

தோட்டத்தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு நாளாந்த ஊதியமாக ரூ. 1000 வழங்கவேண்டும் என்ற கோரிக்கையானது 2015ஆம் ஆண்டு தொழிற்சங்கங்களால.....
