A remarkable gathering of industry, academia, and future engineers!

Organized by the IMechE Student Chapter – University of Peradeniya, together with the Mechanical Engineering Society, Manufacturing Engineering Association, and Society of Chemical and Process Engineering Students, ENGENESIS 2026 was successfully held on 15th July 2026 at TRACE Expert City, Colombo.

The event brought together the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Heads of Departments, academic staff, industry executives, and engineering students, creating an excellent platform for networking, career exploration, and professional development. Company representatives conducted interviews and engaged with students, opening doors to exciting career opportunities.
