How do I fit 60+ artists into 90 seconds? 📖🦁
I recently created the Stage & Lineup Reveal video for the Deep Jungle Festival, and it was a massive puzzle to solve.
The Challenge: I needed to showcase 6 distinct stages (which are still under construction!) and a lineup of over 62 artists... all in under 1.5 minutes. If I showed artists one by one, the video would be too long and boring. I needed a way to keep viewers hooked while staying true to the Deep Jungle theme.
The Solution: After brainstorming with my friend Sankalpa, we cracked the code: "The Ancient Journal." Instead of a standard list, we took the viewer on a POV journey through the jungle. We found an old journal where every page turn reveals a new stage. As the page flips, the background transforms into the real-life stage design (created from concept art), and the lineup appears printed on the parchment.
The Workflow (AI + Manual): It wasn't easy! While I used AI to generate the atmosphere, AI struggled to arrange 15-20 specific artist faces accurately on a single page. To solve this, I used a hybrid workflow... combining AI visuals with manual editing to ensure every artist was clearly visible and the layout was perfect.
The Result: A seamless journey through music and nature.
