New ep following up previous series and invite a listener once again on a journey to the world of afro latin music and culture. This edition goes right between west africa and caribbean and brings together sounds, voices and rhythms from places like Mali, Ghana, Nigeria, Cuba and Puerto Rico with reggae and dub grooves and aesthetics 'inna TDC style n pattern'..
The tracks are filled with Yoruba spirituality in its original and latin (Santeria..)forms, references of African heritage and 'back to the roots' messages as well with voices sounds and melodies of every day life..

Blessings to each and everyone for the new year with a special release..
Following the concept of previously relased Sri Maha Bodhiya Dub single-this new ep going back to the powerful mystical healing sounds of traditional buddhist chants of pirith (or paritta eg. https://tropicaldubconnection.bandcamp.com/album/sri-maha-bodhiya-dub )
This ancient tradition is widely spread across theravada buddhist countries, mainly Sri Lanka and Thailand, however this type of chanting have ancestral links with other cultures and religions..(eg. psalms, hindu mantras, sufi dhikr etc.) Deep, contemplative, hypnotic voices of Sinhalese and Thai monks chanting stories from Buddhas life and his teachings and prayers for guidance and protection. Spiritually cleaning spaces, as well as minds of listeners from all negative energies...
Together with sounds of traditional instruments like bamboo flutes, sitar, tanpura and various bells and gongs meets with meditative dub roots n steppa style
Its also first TDC release feauturing sounds and voices from Thailand, place when its currently based

Blessings to one n all, here comes new album..
Another release dedicated to indian music and culture. Entitled by the Urdu word "Raabta" which has several meanings, including "connection," "relationship" or "bond" as well as "communication" and "exchange of ideas". It is often used to express the idea of a deep and meaningful connection between people or things. Blessed Vesak day! Here comes special release for special ocasion.. Sri Maha Bodhiye Dub (single +version and remix) is a track based on famous Sri Lankan Buddhist sacred chant -so called Pirith. According tradition the Pirith was chanted by Lord Buddha to bless the human beings from evil power around the home environment. The power of Pirith comes from its sounds and the meaning...Word, Sound and Power..There are number of pirith in Buddhism. All of them includes the great qualities of Lord Buddha and the value of his teachings. Buddhists commonly play recorded pirith every day at dawn and dusk. Because, they believe that it protect them from harmful unseen forces-as the term itself implies, it means protection...Ceremonial recital of pirith is regarded as capable of warding off all forms of evil and danger including disease, the evil influence of the planets, and evil spirits..
In this particular one the sinhala lyrics speak of the Sri Maha Bodhiya tree which is believed to be the oldest planted tree in the world. Its roots hold strong in ancient city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka worshipped and loved by a nation and its visitors from all around the world. Speaks of this tree and its roots travelling from India in the hands of Sanghamiththa a monk, the doughter of India's greatest king Ashoka, who together with her brother Mahinda went to Sri Lanka to spread the teachings of Buddha.
It is for first time that this holy chant been mixed with Dub music...Nyabinghi infused heavy roots dub meets ethereal sounds and hypnotic, meledious, deeply conscious voice of buddhist monk.
