𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟒𝟎-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩
The inaugural ceremony for the admission of new students to the 3rd batch of the 40-day Japanese Language Residential Training Camp, jointly organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies (NIIBS) and the Daichi Japanese Language Centre, was held on the 12th of this month at the Mezzanine Hall of the main auditorium of our institute.
The event, which was held under the patronage of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NIIBS, Venerable Dr. Dampe Wijithrathana Thero, was graced by the presence of the following guests: Dr. Kumburugoda Are Pannaloka Thero, Senior Lecturer of the Anuradhapura Bhikkhu University, Professor Gamini Ratnasiri, Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Mrs. Niroshini Abeykoon, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Modern Languages, University of Kelaniya, and Senior Lecturer Venerable Dr. Panamure Chandima Thero, Senior Lecturer of the Daichi Japanese Language Centre, Venerable Pasgoda Sumittha Thero, Director of NIIBS, and Venerable Sooriyawewa Sumedha Thero, Vice-Chancellor Coordinator. A group of people participated.
