(Monrovia, May 1, 2025)-Abraham Kamara, a man accused of impersonating a medical doctor and performing a deadly surgical procedure, has been arrested by Liberian authorities. His apprehension follows the tragic death of Madam Dorcas Vondeh, 39, who died on March 16, 2025, after undergoing surgery at the now-shuttered ABC Clinic in Gardnersville.

The Liberia Medical and Dental Council (LMDC), in coordination with the Ministry of Justiceโ€™s Public Safety Division, the Liberia National Police, the Montserrado County Health Team, and the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), executed the arrest on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Kamara was taken into custody at the Masalam Medical Clinic on Kebbah Road in a sting led by Deputy Director John Bass Golokeh.

โ€œThis arrest is a victory for public safety,โ€ said Deputy Director Golokeh. โ€œThere will be zero tolerance for unlicensed individuals endangering lives.โ€

Kamara, also linked to a second clinic in Kakata, Margibi County, had been the subject of a nationwide manhunt since March 25, after LMDC launched an investigation into Vondehโ€™s death. Both ABC facilities were swiftly closed.

Bassa High to take on BOBSS for the second time in the ISSA-Back to School Tournament, after a 3:0 defeat in the group stage to the same school.

Buchanan- Grand Bassa County

In the first phase of the ISSA-Back to School, The Turris Lucis boys were hugely defeated by the red boys of the BOBSS three goals to nil.

The indomitable team of the BHSS will again play the BOBSS in the semi-finals in game one on Tuesday, December 3,2024 @2:15PM on the Dorris Williams Sports Stadium.

It will be a dramatic scene to witness the two teams; bringing hundreds of thousands of fans and spectators together. The boys of BHSS are fit and prepare to triumph over their opponent and advance to the finals of the traditional tournament.

Meanwhile, the BOBSS is also confident of defeating the BHSS for the second time in the same tournament with their hope coming from a huge group stage victory.

Fans and sports lovers will gather to witness this all important semi final match with their expectations very high for the both teams.
