ELLEN JOHNSON SIRLEAF DISCRIBEDS Rev. MOT. Elizabeth ROSE COMMINGS DEATH AS A GRAT LOST FOR BASSA.

Former President of the Republic of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has discribed the death of the late Rev. Mother Elizabeth Rose, Commings in the County as a great lost to the people of Grand Bassa County and she's going to be remembered for her dedelicated work in the County by the people of Bassa.

Speaking to a team of Journalists at the funeral service held at the first United Methodist Church in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County on Saturday the 20, 2021, mentioned that, she was once inspired by the late Mother Elizabeth,Rose Commings to contest as President of Liberia.
She's at the same time called on you people in the County and Liberia atlarge to follow the good examples of the late Mother Rose Commings.

MOTO ACCIDENT LEAVES SEVERAL WOUNDED IN NIMBA.

Reports reaching CTR TV says, a tragic Moto accident on Tuesday February 16,2021 too place leaving several Government Officials wounded.

According to our source, the accident which includes seven LDEA Officers,and Liberias international football star George Geboe tooke place between Gboyee and Kanplay as the white Vehicle which was part of President George M. Weah Convoy was heading to Ganta City.

Our source said, immediately after the accident, the victims were taken to a local Hospital in Nimba County for medical treatments as No death has been reported so far.

Meanwhile, investigation continue by CTR TV.

Grand Bassa County District #3 Representative Honorable Matthew Fair play Joe has called on Liberian Students to take advantage of vocational Education after High School.

Serving as guest speaker for the 30th Graduation ceremony of the Buchanan seven day Adventist High School recently in Grand Bassa County, the Bassa Lawmaker encouraged the graduates to seek vocational Education if there is means to continue Higher Education which could help they and their family while they are seeking Higher Education.
Honorable Joe used his story to encourage the Students as a vocational Student before becoming a Representative, pledged the amount of one hundred thousand Liberian dollars as contribution the School's project, and promised to do more.

On early Saturday morning of January 23,2021 a body wildly believed to be a little boy about 12 years was found laying in parts of the Chougbor Community on the old Road.
Speaking to CTR TV some onlookers explained as saying that, about 11:00 pm they spotted a strange dark vehicle that was parked at the spot where the body was laying but didn't know what was going on.

The father the of the 2020 Queen of the W.P.L Brumskine United Methodist School System in the Old field Community, Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County Mr. Williams Sayon has treated the to filed a lawsuit against the administration of the institution for failing to mention his Daughter name the graduation program.
According to Mr. Sayon, his Daughter is the Queen of the School and contributed to the success of the ACADEMY year by winning the Queen contest with the amount of over $200000 Liberian dollars pus some USD for which her Name shouldn't be forgotten about in such a historical program.
The angry parent held the entire program to a stand still for over 30 minutes as Students, and other parents appealed to him.

CEMESP ENDS TWO DAY WORKSHOP IN BUCHANAN.

About 25 Community Radio Journalists from Grand Bassa County, Margibi Counties have concluded a two day capacity building and training workshop w the center for Media Studies, and Peace building (CEMESP) under the team: Standing above Corona Virus Fake News dissemination in Liberia.

The two day capacity building and training workshop which was held at the Office of the Bassa Youth Caucus on the fair grounds in Buchanan, According to the Program planner of CEMESP Liberia Madam Ruth Gbato said, the training is meant to promote information dissemination integrity, around Covid 19 and enhance Media professionalism.

She mentioned that, CEMESP will also help improve Media professionals quality of Covid 19 reporting, best practices in health reporting, Media response to rumor.althrough the workshop was facilitated by by vethrian Journalists Mr. Frank Sainworla, Mr. Klonnious Blamo, and Madam Ruth Gbato.

L F A INSPECTS DORRIS WILLIAM SPORTS STADIUM IN BASSA.

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) Has completed a day long tour on the Dorris William Sports stadium in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.

Addressing News men on recently after the tour, the Liberia Football Association Vice President Mr. Sekou Konneh pointed out that, the inspection intended to monitor the ongoing FIFA sponsored Carpet Project.
According to Mr. Konneh, FIFA is implementing four projects in Liberia as Grand Bassa County is no exception.

He mentioned that the cause of the four Projects is $ 4.5 million United States Dollars.
Mr. Konneh also acting President of LFA at the same time called on the County Authority to give some supports for the Project.
On the other hand, the Chief Engineer in Charged only identified as Veveian disclosed that, 20 persons from Grand Bassa County were hired to work along with him.
