“Liberians and Their Selective Mindset: A Dangerous Road We Have Taken”

Inasmuch as I empathize with Bucky Raw, I stand on the side of the law. A few months ago, Peach Bility, the son of Rep. Musa Bility, was arrested by the LDEA and jailed at the Monrovia Central Prison for several months.

Many of the people now standing with Bucky and calling for his immediate release are the same people who demanded that Rep. Bility’s son remain behind bars for being in possession of illegal substances.

Here lies the irony: is Bucky more Liberian than Rep. Bility’s son, or is it because Bucky is a popular musician? Take the United States, for example. They have prosecuted numerous top musicians, politicians, and clergymen. They do not consider who you are or what you have; once you come into conflict with the law and there is sufficient evidence to establish that conflict, you will be prosecuted. If you are found guilty, you will definitely go to jail.

I do not personally know Bucky, but I believe he needs serious psychosocial counseling. Imagine the kind of insults he rained on officers of the LDEA. I doubt he could do that to any officer—let alone an DEA officer—in the United States.

LDEA, I urge you to carry out your duties without fear or favor and to do so within the ambit of the law.

DA HOW I SEE LAY WHOLE TIN YAH...

No one is above the law. This will serve as lesson for other artists in Liberia.

The fellow was wrong to have been in possession of that stuff.
Let's not encourage anyone to be in charge of drugs.
It has negative impact on this country especially the future generations😭

🔥🌍 AES MOVES FROM WORDS TO MACHINES — AFRICA IS WATCHING🇧🇫

IBRAHIM TRAORÉ DELIVERS, NOT PROMISES
President Ibrahim Traoré has officially handed over heavy-duty equipment — Caterpillars, graders, bulldozers, trucks, and other work tools to accelerate road construction and national development under the AES vision.

👉 These are not symbols.
👉 These are machines of sovereignty.

No loans.
No waiting for donors.
No excuses.

With this equipment, roads will be built faster, jobs will be created, and public works will be done by Africans, for Africa.

💡 THIS IS HOW INDEPENDENCE LOOKS IN REALITY :

➡️ Tools in African hands
➡️ Decisions made at home
➡️ Development driven by action

🚧 AES is not negotiating development — AES is executing it.

JUST IN!!!!

Former Solicitor General Cyrenius Cephas writes:👇👇👇👇

“I am unwilling and unable to criticize the Boakai government for a number of reasons. Few of these reasons are stated ad verbatim as follows:
1. Our government didn't promote and protect those who stood in the vanguard of the struggle during the party's days in opposition;
2. Our government placed itself under the illusion of looking for experts and was comfortable of giving contracts, placing the likes of the current Minister of Justice on committees and boards at the expense of its own partisans;
3. Our leaders spent more time gossiping, faring lies and undermining those who did not share their sordid views;
4. The President was like a Christmas light only seen at official ceremonies and was only accessible to only few officials;
5. We undertook a lot of good projects but little results. Take example the population census;
6. Cabinet retreats were set aside for great fun rather than any meaningful exercise to discuss critical issues. The President was by and large the "Gopio" of the cabinet retreat;
7. The President valued recycled politicians in the government more than those he called friends who were determined to serve his government;
8. The government was "Weahcianized," a sort of odd reasoning that is reminiscent of George Orwell's "Animal Farm" so much that kids that were born into poverty were living like kings and queens;
9. Liberian foreign policy was on sale and could only go to the higher bidder even at the peril of national development. Take for instance the two separate votes against China;
10. Only personal friends of the President were favored for lucrative jobs; and
11. The structural leadership of governance in terms of power configuration was in the hands of southeasterner-vis a-vis minority tribe-Kru, namely the President, President Pro-Tempore and the Deputy speaker.
When I think of all these I feel guilty about criticizing the current government. Beyond this our former President who was fond of making music during his presidency is now on social media dancing all over the place. What else is shameful and childish than this? I don't have criticism for JNB yaaa!”
