A Tribute to the Late Hon. David L. Jacobs

The Board of Trustees, Management and Staff of The One Nimba House Media Inc , Nimba D-9 TV , Radio Voice of Yarwin Mehnsonnoh 99.1FM MHz and Help Minimize Epilepsy in Liberia-HMEL , together with our supporters, contributors and sympathizers, mourn with profound sadness the passing of Hon. David L. Jacobs, Former Statutory District Superintendent of Yarwin Mehnsonnoh.

Hon. Jacobs was more than a community leader, he was a friend, supporter and champion of community development.
He was proactive, accessible and always willing to listen, encourage and support initiatives aimed at improving the lives of his people.

During his leadership, Help Minimize Epilepsy in Liberia- 's community-based epilepsy awareness initiative received his support as we worked to break the stigma surrounding epilepsy.
He also played an important role in the journey that led to The One Nimba House Media Inc. and Nimba D-9 TV managing Radio Voice of Yarwin Mehnsonnoh 99.1 FM in Zekepa.

We will forever remember his support, supervision and guidance of the radio station in Zekepa, as well as his commitment to ensuring that community institutions had the space and encouragement needed to serve the people.

Hon. Jacobs also provided leadership and support for the Legislative Office in Zekepa and many other development initiatives across Yarwin Mehnsonnoh Statutory District and Nimba County Electoral District 9, undertaken under the leadership of the late Prof. Rep Johnson N Gwaikolo.

From community development initiatives to efforts aimed at improving connectivity and access for citizens, Hon. Jacobs stood alongside these important undertakings with dedication and a spirit of service.

He was always accessible, through calls, messages and community engagements. He served with humility, openness and a genuine commitment to peace and development.

His passing leaves a tremendous gap in Yarwin Mehnsonnoh Statutory District, Electoral District 9 and in our hearts.

To his bereaved family, relatives, friends and the people he served, we extend our deepest condolences. May God grant you strength, unity, comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Hon. David L. Jacobs, your earthly journey has ended, but your service, leadership and contributions to community development will continue to speak for you.

Rest in perfect peace, Hon. Jacobs.

Developing Story!!

Information Minister Jerolinmek Matthew Piah has confirmed that former Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor has been taken into custody as a person of interest in connection with the co***ne bust.

The former Vice President was picked up this morning while attempting to board an ASKY flight.

Minister Piah confirmed the reports on State Radio moments ago.

The Former Vice President has confirmed that she was prevented from leaving Liberia while preparing to travel to Accra, Ghana, to attend a women’s forum.

Jewel Howard-Taylor said she was informed that she was not permitted to leave the country and was directed to report to a police station.

She said she was on her way to the police station following the directive. The circumstances surrounding the restriction were not provided in the message as forwarded to this station

OBITUARY

The Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of The One Nimba House Media Inc, Nimba D-9 TV that is managing Radio Voice of Yarwin Mehnsonnoh 99.1FM MHz in Zekepa, are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of one of our dedicated and brilliant announcers, Ms. Evelyn Mehin.

Evelyn was a hardworking, humble, and passionate broadcaster whose commitment and professionalism touched everyone who had the privilege of working with her. Her loss is deeply felt by our entire media family.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her bereaved family, loved ones, friends, and our colleagues during this difficult time. We pray that Almighty God grants her eternal rest and provides strength, comfort, and guidance to her young child and all those she leaves behind.

Evelyn was laid to rest today in Monrovia. We express our sincere appreciation to our Co-Founder, Amb. Amb Dolo Robertson Pilkawo for standing in the gap and ensuring that she received a dignified burial.

Evelyn, your brilliance, dedication, humility, and beautiful spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Though you are gone, your legacy will continue to inspire us.

May your soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in perfect
