The Fake Doctor Who Killed People And Has Finally Been Exposed After Many Years – The Facts as Victims Speak Out

Take your time and go through this including every attachment. The facts don’t lie. The truth is stubborn. This is how hundreds of innocent Liberians have lost and are losing their lives every day, every month, and every year. Here are twelve (12) simple pointers to consider. The people of the Republic are so vulnerable to predators and hardcore criminals.

First, thanks to the able leadership of Dr. Benetta Collins Andrews of the Liberia Medical and Dental Council (LMDC) that has demonstrated seriousness, courage, and commitment to combating fake medical credentials and medical fraud in Liberia. The LMDC needs more financial support to w**d out medical fraudsters and ‘serial killers’.

What happened and what are the facts?

1) This is ‘Peter George’ who lied, misled, deceived, misrepresented, defrauded, and cunningly survived on fake medical credentials as a so-called “surgeon” and “medical consultant” for many years. The con has finally been exposed and caught pants down. This is how he murdered a lot of people. Sad.

2) Fake Doctor, Peter George, was born on December 24, 1979 and his email address is [email protected].

3) George initially and falsely laid claim to obtaining a Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBChB) from the University of Sierra Leone. See the attached. After follow-ups were made, the University of Sierra Leone disclaimed and said that the only Doctor with the name “George Peter” who graduated from the school died in 2014 during the EBOLA crisis.

4) In fact, the real name of the fake doctor is not even “Peter George”. One of his secondary school classmates from Sierra Leone who’s willing to also testify confided and said his real name is “Alfred Matthias” and not “Peter Matthew George” as he claimed in Liberia. The fake doctor attended St. Andrew Secondary School-UCC and Bo Secondary School in Sierra Leone as “Alfred Matthias”.

5) On top of his fake MBChB, which he stole from a dead man, he also laid claim to advanced degrees from Tech Global University, Crimean State Medical University, and Indian Institute of Business. We did investigate, and they are all fake.

6) After his license expired on February 21, 2025, the fake doctor went to renew his “license”. The Liberia Medical Dental Council (LMDC) has been conducting routine credential checks before renewal.

7) Fake Doctor Alfred Mathias turned “Peter Matthew George” presented entirely different documents claiming that he obtained his first (undergrad in medicine) and advanced medical (postgrad in medicine) degrees from the University of Hertfordshire (UH) in the UK. He claimed that he spent just four (4) years to obtain the two degrees at UH with the ID #10224063. Please read through the attachment for what he submitted. He refused to submit his first set of fake medical credentials because he had, perhaps, been hinted that we’ve checked and were checking.

8)A step further was taken. A follow-up with the University of Hertfordshire about his new “medical credential claims” was made. The attachment of the response from the University of Hertfordshire is available for everyone to read. The University (UH) issued a disclaimer terming his claim as “fraudulent”.

9) When these facts were established, the LMDC invited ‘Peter George’ multiple times to appear for questioning, but he woefully refused. Hence, a decision was reached on April 21, 2025 after thorough investigation by the LMDC. I am not here to blow my own horn about my role during the investigation that bursted the fake doctor. Whatever I do, have done, and will do is for the sake of Liberian people. The credit belongs to the people. Our work is to support the LMDC, whom we’ve acknowledged for its courage to take action and delicense the fraudster.

10) Take your time and go through his so-called LinkedIn page. A lot of fraudulent schools, fake credentials, and bogus designations which we will deal with in part 2 of this series https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-george-peter-m-md-mmsc-fetp-ffm-fics-facs-phd-candidate-649263288.

11) Imagine this man has been serving as a so-called “surgeon”, “medical consultant”, and “medical administrator”, LMDA President, etc. in Liberia since 2014. Wow. This tells you the extent to which the system and the people are so vulnerable to fraud and serial fraudsters.

12) Direct victims of fatal surgeries conducted by the fake doctor are beginning to speak out including Joseph K. Menlor (wife died), Quiwah Dukuly (grand mother died), Menlor Confort (SIL died), etc. Victims are speaking out. Fake Doctor Peter George MUST be made to fully account for his mayhem (e.g., MURDER). Based on testimonials which are also permissible in Court, the fake doctor killed a lot of people at the Emirate Hospital in Gbarpolu, E&J Medical Center in Ganta, JFK in Monrovia, etc. Guess what? This fraudster killer of a doctor has been earning US$4,000 on MOH payroll. It’s not Peter George alone, they are many. The number of fata surgeries and medical deaths have increased overtime. Why? Mainly because of fake, unqualified, and fraudulent medical practitioners. We must w**d them out. Now is the time.

Recommendations:

1) We reiterate the urgency to conduct a thorough and independent credential audit across all sectors in Liberia including medical, education, etc.

2) Arrest, prosecute, and if found guilty, imprison Peter George for murder.

3) A Database of all licensed medical practitioners (doctors, physicians, nurses, midwives, etc.) along with their profiles need to be made public and accessible online.

Quick Update: Four Children lost their lives in Fire accident...

A tragic house fire in the New Matadi community of Monrovia claimed the lives of four children early Thursday morning. The Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) has attributed the incident to limited road access, which delayed firefighters from reaching the scene in time.

At a Ministry of Information press briefing, LNFS Director Col. G. Warsuwah Barvoul explained that although fire crews responded within eleven minutes of receiving the emergency call, their efforts were severely hindered by blocked alleyways that obstructed access to the burning structure.

“The fire team arrived promptly but could not reach the house due to structures obstructing the pathway. This delay unfortunately contributed to the loss of young lives,” Col. Barvoul stated.

He urged residents to refrain from building in alleyways, emphasizing that such obstructions hinder emergency response and can lead to preventable tragedies.

According to a preliminary report, the fire is believed to have been caused by an unattended mosquito coil.

The LNFS identified the victims as Emmanuel Flomo (8), Marcus Momolu (12), Elizabeth Momolu (6), and Lusu Kamara (2). One of the children was reportedly the child of an LNFS staff member.

The incident has reignited calls for stricter enforcement of urban planning laws and heightened public awareness about fire safety and the importance of maintaining accessible emergency routes.

New Faces, Stronger Force: ‘WE THE PEOPLE’ Movement Expands Protest Leadership as Liberians Unite to Confront Injustice and Demand Reforms on July 17th!

Samuel B. Jacobs, William W. Broh, Titus B. Pakalah, Festus B. Logan, and George S. Tengbeh appointed.

The Solidarity & Trust for a New Day (STAND)—Liberia’s most fearless and uncompromising movement for justice and democratic renewal—joined by thousands of awakened patriots rallying under the powerful authority of Liberia’s constitutional preamble, “WE THE PEOPLE,” proudly announces bold new appointments to its frontline leadership for the historic July 17th “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” Nationwide Protest. Hailed both at home and across the diaspora as the Mother of All Protests, this unstoppable movement signals a decisive turning point in the people’s fight to liberate Liberia from the clutches of corruption, lawlessness, and betrayal.

As Liberians mobilize to confront a government burdened by unfulfilled promises, entrenched corruption, nepotism, judicial interference, human rights violations, and repeated constitutional breaches, the organizers of the July 17th “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” peaceful protest have appointed some of the nation’s most respected patriots, distinguished intellectuals, and credible human rights advocates to key leadership roles as follows:

• Mr. Samuel B. Jacobs, appointed ‘Academic & Think-Tank Engagement Officer’, is a distinguished scholar, former national debate coach, double master’s graduate of Northwestern Law School, and double PhD candidate at Cornell and Liberty Universities. He brings intellectual firepower to the movement’s policy and research frontlines.
• Mr. William W. Broh, appointed ‘Diaspora Liaison Officer – Europe’, also known as “Slim-King,” is a fearless activist and revolutionary voice from the Liberian community in France, committed to international solidarity in the fight for justice across Africa.
• Mr. Titus B. Pakalah, appointed ‘National Protest Director’, is a renowned human rights advocate, with a record of combating sexual and gender-based violence and pushing for policy reforms. He brings strategic grassroots mobilization and proven leadership to this nationwide action.

• Mr. George S. Tengbeh, appointed ‘Head of Secretariat’, is a prominent labor rights researcher and founder of the Liberia Labor and Governance Alliance (LILGA). His work has shaped national dialogue on economic justice and governance, and he will help anchor the administrative engine of the movement.

These appointments strengthen a movement that is no longer just a protest—it is a national awakening, a thunderous call to justice, and a unified demand by the people of Liberia to end decades of political betrayal, systemic abuse, and economic hardship.

REASONS WE ARE ASSEMBLING

On July 17, 2025, WE THE PEOPLE will rise in peaceful, defiant solidarity to:
• Demand full and transparent accountability from President Joseph Boakai and his administration;
• Compel the Boakai-led Executive to respect the independence of the Supreme Court and end its interference in judicial affairs;
• Restore legislative sovereignty by halting the unlawful involvement of the President and Vice President in House leadership matters;
• Call for an end to endemic corruption and the abuse of public trust;
• Fight for equal justice under the law and dignity for all citizens;
• Demand free and quality healthcare for the poor;
• Launch a full-scale review of concession agreements to ensure fairness and tangible benefits for the Liberian people;
• Propose constitutional reforms enabling recall elections for unethical or underperforming lawmakers;
• Push for investment in youth education and skills training to secure Liberia’s future;
• Uplift the voices of the marginalized: kehkeh riders, motorcyclists, healthcare workers, petty traders, civil servants, and victims of police brutality.

This movement belongs to every street vendor struggling to survive, every bike & Kekeh rider being denied justice, every family robbed of opportunity, every youth denied a future, and every Liberian demanding truth, dignity, and the rightful return of power to the people.

We call upon civil society, grassroots organizations, the Liberian diaspora, and global partners to unite in this historic mobilization. Join us in congratulating these bold patriots—and prepare to stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow citizens as we speak not in whispers, but with revolutionary thunder, echoing from Capitol Hill to the farthest corners of Liberia:

LTA Begins Rural Connectivity Drive in Bomi, Cape Mount Counties - Citizens Hail Network Restoration Efforts in Suehn Mecca

SUEHN MECCA, BOMI COUNTY – The Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), through its Universal Access initiative, has begun restoring non-functional telecom towers and expanding coverage in underserved rural communities, starting with Suehn Mecca in Bomi County.

The initiative includes the reactivation of existing towers, the installation of Starlink connectivity, and support for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to install their signals. As part of the rollout, 50 mobile phones are being distributed to residents in the affected areas.

Acting Commissioner for Consumer Affairs and Universal Access, Patrick Honnah, said the intervention aims to close Liberia’s digital divide. “These are places where service has been down for a long time. The Universal Access Fund allows us to reactivate towers and bring back connectivity,” he noted.

For their part, residents in Suehn Mecca expressed joy and relief, noting that for years they had to walk long distances and climb hills just to make a phone call.

“We’ve been out of network for so long. This is a big relief,” said Township Commissioner Saymonlu B Dorley. “We thank the LTA and the government for bringing us back in touch with the world.”

The project will continue across Cape Mount and other underserved parts of the country as LTA seeks to expand access to communication and digital services.

Former Press Union Of Liberia President
Peter Quaqua Writes…
“Rebuilding Trust and Solidarity: A Pathway to ‘Sustaining Independent Journalism in the Digital Age’

By Peter Quaqua

Every May 3rd, World Press Freedom Day invites nations and communities to reflect on the state of press freedom and the vital role independent journalism plays in democratic societies. In Liberia, where the struggle for free expression has been both storied and hard-won, this year’s local theme, “Sustaining Independent Journalism in the Digital Age,” carries deep significance. It comes amid an internal reckoning within the Liberian media, underscored by a prolonged election dispute within the Press Union of Liberia (PUL)—a situation that has exposed the fragility of the very principles we strive to uphold.

This theme compels us to confront the challenges and embrace the possibilities presented by digital transformation. But before we can sustain independent journalism, we must first do something even more urgent: rebuild trust and strengthen the internal systems that support press freedom.

Upholding the Rule of Law

The recent leadership crisis within the PUL revealed just how shaky the foundations of our once-vibrant institution have become. What should have been a routine democratic process turned into a legal impasse and organizational paralysis. For over two years, the PUL, the country’s principal media body, was largely inactive, unable to speak with one voice, advocate effectively for journalists, or defend press freedom.

Today, the Union is slowly finding its footing, pushing to reoccupy the space it vacated. Yet the aftermath of the prolonged litigation has left lingering mistrust. This is precisely why sincere efforts were made to seek an out-of-court resolution. Court decisions must be respected - especially by those who claim to champion the rule of law. Whether it’s a SLAPP suit against a journalist or a genuine legal recourse by an aggrieved citizen, the media must consistently uphold the principles of law and order. The Union’s recent experiences, though avoidable, reflect its adherence to these values.

Interestingly, even the erstwhile Interim Committee, comprising former officials and media elders, was caught in the crossfire. Despite disagreements within the Union over the court’s ruling, the Committee was honored to be entrusted by the Circuit Court in Gbarnga to help restore our Union. Thankfully, that chapter is now behind us, following the ruling of the Civil Law Court in Monrovia.

Still, let’s be clear: after such a bitterly contested process, rebuilding trust will take time. Courts may resolve legal disputes, but they cannot mend broken relationships. As the guardian of press freedom and professional solidarity, the PUL’s leadership must now focus on healing, and more importantly, on reforming the systems that allowed the crisis to unfold in the first place.
When governance fails, institutions lose legitimacy. And when that happens, the very foundation of a free press begins to crumble.

Why Internal Systems Matter

In this digital era—defined by rapid information flows, coordinated disinformation, and growing threats to journalists, strong internal systems are not optional. They are essential. Sustaining independent journalism depends not only on editorial freedom or technological innovation, but also on sound governance that promotes accountability, inclusion, and transparency.

The PUL must lead by example. It must evolve beyond being a symbolic defender of press freedom and become a truly functional, responsive, and forward-looking institution. That means reimagining how the Union operates—not just who leads it.

Let me offer a few suggestions as the Union undertakes its much-needed transformation:
• Reform the electoral system, including a rigorous membership registration process with clear rules and transparent oversight;
• Embrace inclusive membership structures that reflect the diversity of today’s media, especially digital, community-based, and freelance journalists;
• Establish a conflict resolution mechanism to address internal disputes before they escalate;
• Strengthen financial and administrative controls to ensure integrity and sustainability;
• Invest strategically in digital safety, legal defense, and health support for journalists working under increasingly hostile conditions;
• And crucially, institute a strong self-regulatory regime to hold journalists accountable for their errors.

Meeting the Challenges of the Digital Era

Independent journalism now exists in a world where anyone with a smartphone can publish information—and where misinformation often spreads faster than the truth. Journalists must not only adapt their storytelling techniques; they must also safeguard their credibility, platforms, and security in the digital space.
The digital age gives journalists powerful tools. But without strong internal structures, those tools can be misused—to polarize, mislead, or distract—rather than to inform.

The PUL must rise to this occasion. It must become a hub for digital training, ethical journalism, and media innovation—not just a gatekeeper for legacy institutions. Encouragingly, the Acting Chairman of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority, Mr. Abdullah Kamara, pledged support during this year’s Press Freedom Day event—a welcome gesture.

A Reason to Be Proud

At its core, sustaining independent journalism is about trust—in facts, in institutions, and in each other. The PUL cannot defend democracy if it does not reflect democratic values in its own governance.

The PUL has played a pivotal role in Liberia’s journey toward peace and democracy. We have reason to be proud. From civil society leaders to student activists, from politicians to everyday citizens, many can attest to the PUL’s contributions—especially when speaking truth to power carried great risk. We cannot afford to bury that legacy.

Let this World Press Freedom Day be more than symbolic. Let it mark the beginning of a new chapter - one in which internal reform drives external credibility, and in which the PUL becomes not only restored but renewed to meet today’s challenges.

Going Forward

Journalists across Liberia—regardless of age, affiliation, or platform—must come together to reclaim the soul of our profession. This is not a call for uniformity, but for shared purpose. Independent journalism will only thrive when the institutions that protect it are resilient, inclusive, and modernized.

We must seize this moment to upgrade our systems, enable ethical leadership, and rebuild solidarity. In a country flooded with hate and noise, a credible, independent press remains our best hope for truth. And in a Union restored by trust and strengthened by reform, journalists will find not only protection—they will find purpose.
The fight for press freedom begins at home. And if we get our house in order, we will be better equipped to defend every other freedom that flows from it.

Whether you are a veteran journalist or just starting out, a manager or editor, based in the city or rural areas—the responsibility is yours too. Rebuilding the PUL is not someone else’s job; it’s everyone’s. Not just those in leadership.

I agree with the Minister of Information, who rightly questioned the conspicuous absence of media managers and editors at the Press Freedom Day event. In times like these, the Union needs the attention, commitment, and contribution of all senior members of the press.

It’s time to get involved. Let us recommit to the values that first drew us to journalism: courage, integrity, and service.

God bless the PUL!.”…

The U.S. Embassy in Monrovia welcomes the recent announcement from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) regarding the arrest and removal of a fugitive wanted in Liberia for producing and selling fraudulent documents. This action was taken pursuant to a Liberian INTERPOL Diffusion, underscoring the strong international cooperation between law enforcement partners.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Liberia National Police (LNP) and the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) for their critical support and cooperation in this case. Their efforts continue to be vital in protecting the integrity of Liberia’s identity documents and safeguarding the rule of law.
