The Kakata City Government, led by Mayor Gbarngawoe E. Seyboe, has expressed gratitude to Arcelormittal Liberia for successfully completing a 28 km road.

The rehabilitation project stretching from Kakata to Harbel Hills.

This initiative, fully funded by Arcelormittal Liberia and executed by the Liberian construction company FREBENJA, has brought much joy to the residents of Kakata.

During an official gathering on Monday, Mayor Seyboe noted the importance of the project and recognized the efforts of the Margibi legislative caucus, particularly the advocacy of District #3 Representative Hon. Ellen A. Attoh-Wreh, in facilitating this initiative.

The Mayor emphasized that the road rehabilitation aligns with President Joseph Nyuma Boakai's commitment to enhancing infrastructure as part of the ARREST AGENDA (R).

Mayor Seyboe urged the citizens to take ownership of the newly rehabilitated road, reminding them that it is a community asset and should be maintained by the residents, rather than relying solely on the government or the construction company.

He also encouraged other companies to follow Arcelormittal's example and contribute to improving community infrastructure, noting that many roads in the Kakata are still in need of attention.

These remarks were made during the handover ceremony of the road to the county leadership, highlighting the collaborative effort required for continued development in Liberia.

Folks, I am excited to announce that Mayor Gbarngawoe E. Seyboe will be taking the time to sit down with several radio stations to address some of the most pressing issues currently facing our City.

One of the key topics that will be discussed is the Green hygiene Services and their recent contract termination.

The mayor will provide clarity on whether or not the contract was truly terminated and also shed light on the new sanitation services now available in Kakata.

We understand and appreciate the concerns that have been raised by members of our community and we are committed to serving you to the best of our abilities.

So let's tune in and listen to what Mayor Seyboe has to say about these important matters.

Thank you all for your continued support and involvement in making our city a better place.

He will appear in this week!

It is with great disappointment that we must inform our residents and the general public that the information provided by a local news media platform, Dtv, is false and misleading.

This particular platform reported that Mayor, Gbarngawoe E. Seyboe had issued permits to business owners to operate on a national holiday proclaimed by President Boakai.

We categorically condemn this disturbing misinformation and assure the public that Mayor Seyboe has not allowed any business to open on a national holiday, especially one as important as this.

The Dtv reporter who went live with this false information is a liar and we
are not deterred by their baseless accusations.

Our main focus remains on keeping our city clean and green, as Mayor Seyboe cannot be distracted by individuals who spread lies.

The Mayor relationship with local leaders and the Executive is balanced and cannot be questioned by anyone. Mayor Seyboe, being a pastor, would never allow businesses to operate on a national holiday of prayer and fasting.

This day is an important one for all citizens to come together and pray for our nation and its people, and it cannot be overlooked or disregarded.

We had hoped that the reporter would have interviewed residents and citizens to get their opinions on the national holiday, rather than making false statements.

We urge them to be more professional in their reporting next time and not spread negative mindsets towards others who have built strong relationships.

Our doors are always open to everyone for accurate and reliable information.

Congratulations are in order for Hon. O Jay Morris as he has been appointed and confirmed as the new superintendent for Margibi County.

This is a well-deserved achievement and we, the authorities of the Kakata City Corporation, want to express our heartfelt congratulations.

Being appointed as a county superintendent is not a coincidence, but a result of hard work and dedication to the process.

Hon. Morris has proven himself to be a capable leader, and we are confident that he will excel in his new role. We would also like to extend our gratitude to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai for his foresight in selecting Hon. Morris to lead the local government in Margibi.

With his vast experience and proven track record, we believe he is the right choice to bring unity and drive development in our county.

As a corporation, we are ready to work hand in hand with Hon. O. Jay Morris to make Margibi a great county once again.

We understand that this is not a one-man job and we are committed to supporting our new superintendent in any way we can.

However, it is important to note that as a corporation, we have limited resources and rely solely on the fees we collect. We hope that with Hon. Morris on board, we can collectively work on addressing some of the challenges we are currently facing.

We are grateful for your unwavering support as we continue to serve the people of Margibi. With Hon. Morris at the helm, we are confident that we can overcome any obstacles and achieve great things for our county.

In conclusion, we would like to once again congratulate Hon. O Jay Morris on his new appointment.
We have faith in his capabilities and know that he will lead us with integrity and dedication.

As we embark on this new chapter together, let us remember that together, we can accomplish anything. May God bless our new county superintendent as he leads us to a brighter future.

In a commendable act of generosity, Hon Ellen A Attoh-Wreh the Representative for Margibi County’s electoral district #3, has donated bags of rice and cash to the Kakata City Corporation in anticipation of the July 26 celebrations.

The donation was presented by Political Officer Musa Amb Musah Godfavor Siryon who emphasized that this gesture marks Hon. Wreh ongoing commitment to the welfare of her constituents.

Mr. Siryon highlighted that Hon Attoh has consistently supported various institutions in Kakata and surrounding areas with rice and cash contributions, demonstrating her dedication to the community not just during festivals but throughout the year.

Mr. Siryon assured that her office is always open to the Kakata City Corporation, reiterating her willingness to assist, especially given the challenges posed by a lack of budgetary support from the central government.

Upon receiving the donations, Kakata City Mayor Gbarngawoe E. Seyboe expressed heartfelt thanks to Hon Attoh-Wreh for her timely assistance, noting that she is the first lawmaker to support Kakata City Corporation in such a way since he assumed office.

The Mayor praised the significance of the support for his workers, especially the street sweepers, who contribute significantly to keeping the city clean.

Kakata City Corporation Cleans Up Dumpsite

In a commendable effort to enhance the environment of Kakata, the Kakata City Government has initiated a significant cleanup operation at the general dumpsite.
The dumpsite located on the outskirts of Holder Farm.

This initiative, supported by Margibi Electoral District #4 Representative Hon. Emmanuel O. Yarh, highlights the importance of collaboration between local leaders for the betterment of the community.

During the cleanup, Mayor Gbarngawoe E. Seyboe expressed gratitude towards Representative Yarh for his generous support, particularly in providing heavy machinery for the operation.

As the 26th Independence Celebration approaches, the Liberia Joint Security, in collaboration with the Kakata City Corporation, is urging all marketers to avoid selling on the main streets of Kakata City.

To enhance the festive atmosphere, there will be a variety of goods available for sale on designated areas away from the main road. Vehicles will not be permitted to park on the sides of the main street, and drivers are encouraged to utilize their union offices instead of accessing the main thoroughfare.

It is important to note that no individuals will be allowed to sell on the main street, including those selling clothes by hand.

This initiative aims to beautify Kakata City in preparation for the national independence celebration scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2025.

These measures are intended not to target anyone but rather to promote the beautification of our city and ensure safe movement for pedestrians and vehicles.

Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines will help make this celebration a success in Kakata.
