Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh, dear brothers and sisters of KPU across the globe,
Alhamdulillah, we give thanks to Allah for the gift of life, unity, and the opportunity to serve in His cause. As we prepare for the blessed sixth Annual KPU Prayer Conference in Kpandebu scheduled for December 2025, we are reminded of our duty as a united Islamic family to come together in spirit, action, and sacrifice.
Against this background, the International Chairman of KPU, Mr. Foday M. Sesay, is calling on all members from every chapter whether in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Ivory Coast, the diaspora, or beyond to:
Hold and attend regular meetings at your respective branches.
Pay your monthly dues and sacrifice contributions to support the successful hosting of the Kpandebu program.
Strengthen our bonds as one family under the banner of Islam and community service.
According to the Chairman, this is not just a program but it is a spiritual journey, a revival of our collective faith, and a testimony of our unity.
He further said, let us reflect on the divine guidance that encourages unity, sacrifice, and family bonds:
“Indeed, this nation of yours is one nation, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.” Surah Al-Anbiya (21:92)
“The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.” Surah Al-Hujurat (49:10)
The Prophet SAW said:
“The example of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim)
These verses and Hadith remind us that our strength lies in our togetherness, our mutual support, and our shared sacrifices.
Why Does Your Participation Matters?
Your presence in meetings ensures that your voice is heard and your ideas contribute to the success of the program.
Your financial support is a form of sadaqah (charity) that will be rewarded by Allah.
Your unity and commitment reflect the true spirit of Islam and the legacy of our forefathers who built this union with love and sacrifice.
The Chairman concluded by saying, let us rise to this noble call. Let us prepare spiritually, physically, and financially for the Kpandebu Prayer Conference. Let us show the world what it means to be a family rooted in faith, guided by the Qur’an, and inspired by the Sunnah.
May Allah bless our efforts, increase us in sincerity, and make this upcoming program a source of barakah for generations to come.
