Young Liberian Defender Shines in Debut First Division Season.

In a standout debut season in the Liberian First Division League, a promising young central defender Siaffa Joly Freeman Jr, has proven himself as one of the league’s most consistent and impactful performers.

Defensive Rock with Impressive Numbers
In the recently concluded season, Siaffa Joly Freeman Jr was the only central defender in the league to feature in 32 games across all competitions, playing the full 90 minutes in every match an extraordinary feat for any player, let alone a debutant.

His performance wasn’t just about defense. He contributed significantly in attack and buildup play, with:

⚽ 5 goals scored
🎯 4 assists provided
🧤 9 clean sheets
🏆 Orange Cup Champion

These statistics speak volumes about his endurance, reliability, and all around contribution to his team’s success.

Samuel K. Doe Legacy Foundation Denounces Misrepresentation of the Doe Family and Reaffirms Commitment to National Unity.

Monrovia, Liberia — The Samuel K. Doe Legacy Foundation, representing 18 of the surviving biological children of the late President Samuel Kanyon Doe, is compelled to address and correct
recent public statements made by a small minority of siblings from another branch of the family.

These individuals have wrongfully claimed to speak for “The Doe Family” while issuing threats and political ultimatums to His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. Such statements are reckless, unrepresentative, and damaging to the dignity of our father’s legacy.

They do not speak for the majority of President Doe’s children, and they hold no authority to represent the Doe lineage in any official capacity.

The Foundation was established precisely because of repeated public misrepresentation and the erosion of respect for our father’s name caused by these actions.

We stand as the legitimate and united voice of the majority — committed to preserving his legacy through service, charity, and a constructive relationship with the people and Government of Liberia.

President Doe led with courage and a vision for Liberia’s progress. It is not in keeping with his values to engage in public threats, disparage national leadership, or seek personal gain through intimidation. The Samuel K. Doe Legacy
Foundation categorically disassociates itself from such behavior.

We take this opportunity to affirm our full and unwavering support for President Boakai’s leadershipand his administration’s goals of peace, reconciliation, and development. Words alone cannot fully express the depth of our gratitude for the tremendous outpouring of love, prayers, and comfort we received following the passing of our beloved Mother Esther Davies Faryen.

During this difficult season, your presence whether through personal visits, phone calls, messages, tributes, contributions, or simply silent prayers has been an anchor to our souls. Each gesture, no matter how small, has reminded us that love, friendship, and human kindness are powerful sources of healing. Your thoughtful words and compassionate deeds gave us strength when our hearts were heavy, and your willingness to share in our grief made the burden easier to bear.

We are especially grateful to the clergy, choirs, and all who participated in the funeral service for honoring the memory of our dear mother with dignity and respect. Your support enabled us to celebrate a life well lived and gave us hope for the days ahead.
