Police spokesperson, Cecelia W. Clarke, confirmed multiple charges against Madam Zainab Bah and her husband, Ibrahim Jalloh.

The investigation further revealed that Madam Bah wasted soup on officers and threw a chair at the officers.

Officer Alice Tokpah has been suspended for one month without pay due to misconduct, the unjustified removal of Madam Bah's hijab, and the use of excessive force during the incident.

The LNP's findings also cleared Officer Prince W. Cheapo of any wrongdoing.

Breaking News!

Another Tragic accident occurred on the Saclepea to Tappita Highway, claiming the lives of four individuals. The incident took place around 3:56 PM Liberia time between Loyee and Kpantuo.

According to eyewitnesses, the victims were traveling to Saniquellie in connection with a r**e case involving Lamine Sanoe, the suspect. Lamine Sanoe was accused of r**e, and the case was taken to the Tappita Police Depot. The commander transferred the case to Saniquellie, and the police officer, Ephesians S. Gbuah, and the Community Watchforam member, Junior Wobah, were tasked with escorting the suspect and Blessing Thomas, a witness, to Saniquellie for further proceedings.

Tragically, while en route from Tappita to Saclepea, they got swept away in a creek near Loyee town. The Liberia National Police Saclepea detachment responded promptly, conducting inspections and collaborating with health authorities to assess the situation. Unfortunately, the four individuals were pronounced dead by local health authorities.

The bodies have been deposited at Heaven Gate Funeral Home in Saclepea City, Nimba County. Further details will be provided as the investigation unfolds.
