"STAINED INTEGRITY"
The fight against corruption had long gotten underway when the CDC-led government abused tenure positions ; meted out vast pillaging across revenue -generating sectors- leaving pres Boakai with no other answer but to release them .
Now, integrity luminary Pres. Joseph Boakai had been poised to clampdown on all tenure positions, unlike the ones the constitution stresses out . At the National Road fund [NRF], the scenario is getting graver and even more complicated.underperformed Pres. George Weah is meddling into the fray as to undo the judgement of the ruling establishment. Cherry-picked judges like associate justices Yemie Gbessie and Usuf Kabba are under the spell of the then president for the presiding over the NRF's tenure saga should create a stalemate or a judgement that's not favorable or suits the outcome of the matter.
Against such backdrop, the civil society of Liberia that's led by Good Governance Initiative is vehemently calling upon pres Weah to show some scupper for the country's constitution and stop using managed tenure heads that outlived his regime as to not use their profolio to fuel finances toward an unwarranted presumed protest and ill-fated judicial decisions.this is one reason pres Boakai needs to overhaul the court systems so the rule of law can endure some respect and obtain a new face for the Liberian public.
