FDA; GRAND BASSA CHAPTER AREESTS AND DISPOSES BUSH MEAT WORTH OVER USD $11K

The Forestry Development Authority (FDA), Grand Bassa Chapter has made an arrest and disposal of huge quantity of dry bush meat which was arrested by Rangers of the Sapo National Park on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Nimba County Junction while in route to Monrovia.

According to the arresting officer whose name was with-held told Ablee-Jay Media that the huge quantity was spotted making its way to Monrovia and was arrested by them as the quantity was said to have been taken from protected forests area within the Grand Gedeh and Nimba Counties area.

The Regional Director of FDA, Mr. James Flomo said that the killing of protected wildlife go against FDA regulations; Section 11.1 and that he was told by the FDA legal team to dispose the huge consignment of bush meat by public burning.

When he was asked by the joint media team about penalties regarding the killing of such protected animals, he said that it is by law that FDA will levied fines or prosecute cases further especially in the event where the consignment at huge quantity was arrested and disposed of; “FDA reserves the right to make pardon to culprits, but our goal is to discourage people from selling or creating the avenue for protected animals to be killed.”

Speaking to the arrested business woman who claimed to be the owner of the huge consignment of bush meat, she alleged that FDA Rangers took away LD$ 30,000.00 from her to allow the huge consignment of Bush Meat to make its way to market, which the rangers further denied.

She lamented that this is her only way of survival and that she is left with nothing else to survive on as the money was credited to enable her get the bush meat for business purposes.

Hon. Samuel Gongben Kogar of District #5 Buu-Yao is accused by Enoch Manker Johnson.

Few days ago the Nimba fearless TV news correspondence went to visit Buu-Yao District.
In one of the Town that is best known as the home of Hon. Jackson Fiah Doe (Gbloulay), he encounter with Enoch Intellectualist Johnson who is believed to be Hon. Kogar nightmare.

Speaking to Nimba fearless TV, Mr. Enoch M. said, Hon. Samuel G Kogar of District #5 Buu-Yao know about the death of the late Allen Yeaten. According to Mr. Johnson, Hon. Kogar Killed Allen Yeaten of Teahplay Bouyealay because jealousy and envies.
Mr. Johnson lamented " Kogar killed Allen Yeaten because of jealousy and envies. He killed him because of his hate for the Yeaten's of Teahplay Bouyealay.
He killed him because of the little business he was doing at the time, and I will tell the whole world about what he did".

We hope Hon. Samuel G Kogar vindicate this indictment from Mr. Johnson soon.

Nimba fearless news TV, caught some elders of Buu Yao district heading to "GUAHN" bridge between frolay and wruolay, singing praises to their ancestors, with the name of KORTOR KWAGRUE. We don't have copy to their songs. Our daily observers reported; We heard those youths and elders singing "Næmen-tœ yeegbæ plæye lá yen", and one of us asked for the meaning of the song they sang, and of tall looking lady told us that " they are singing praises to our ancestors in the name of KORTOR KWAGRUE, and it means; child can't leave his people! All our hard times will soon come to an end". The bridge between frolay and wruolay is almost complete.
