African Actor Artus Frank to Host Movie Audition in Philadelphia

Aspiring actors, actresses, content creators, and film enthusiasts in the Liberian community and beyond will have a unique opportunity to showcase their talents as renowned African actor Artus Frank hosts a live movie audition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The audition event, organized by Fast Studios, is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Musu Spot, 55 E. Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne, PA 19050, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Grace Weah Breaks Silence After LFA Clears Her of Allegations

The President of Determine Girls FC, Grace H. Weah, has expressed profound gratitude to supporters, colleagues, and the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Ethics Committee following a decision that cleared her of all allegations and lifted her suspension.

In a statement released after the ruling, Grace Weah described the period as one of the most challenging moments of her career, thanking everyone who stood by her throughout the process.

The development follows an official announcement from the Liberia Football Association Ethics Committee, which confirmed that a complaint previously filed against Weah had been withdrawn and the case formally closed.

According to the LFA, the matter originated from allegations raised by Ms. Rochelle G.D. Woodson concerning travel ticket irregularities related to the WAFU A Zone Competition in Dakar, Senegal, where Weah had been designated as Head of Delegation. Following a preliminary review, Woodson voluntarily requested to withdraw the complaint, stating that she no longer wished to pursue the matter. The Ethics Committee subsequently accepted the withdrawal, closed the case, and confirmed that no disciplinary action or sanctions had been imposed against Weah.

Reacting to the decision, Grace Weah thanked the entire Determine Girls FC family, including players, coaches, technical staff, management, and supporters, for their unwavering belief in her.

“Your encouragement, loyalty, and confidence in me throughout this difficult period gave me the strength to remain focused and trust in the truth,” she said.

She also praised the LFA Ethics Committee for handling the matter professionally and fairly, emphasizing her respect for the integrity of the process and the principle of due process.

Grace further extended appreciation to Ms. Rochelle Woodson for withdrawing the complaint and allowing the matter to reach a peaceful conclusion.

Popular Liberian rapper Christoph and his wife have been honored with traditional Nyanbo names by traditional leaders in Pleebo Sodoken District, Maryland County.

According to Christoph, the ceremony was organized by traditional leaders from the area, who bestowed cultural names upon the couple as a symbol of acceptance, identity, and connection to their roots.

The award-winning artist revealed that he was given the name Pleebo, which means “Blessings,” while his wife received the name Blàhwlɔr, meaning “Bear Patience.”

Sharing the moment with fans on social media, Christoph expressed gratitude to the traditional leaders and to Sh**un Records for helping make the occasion possible.
