From grass to grace, this is the story of Solomon Kollie, a man whose life once echoed with pain, addiction, and hopelessness on the streets of Kakata, but who now stands as a living testimony of restoration, redemption, and God’s transforming power.

For more than forty years, Solomon lived a life many had written off. The streets of Kakata were his home, each day was a struggle for survival, marked by drug abuse, violence, and actions that hurt both himself and others. Hunger, rejection, and shame became his daily companions.

Many feared him, others pitied him, but few believed his story could ever change, to society, Solomon was a lost cause, a man trapped by his past and controlled by destructive habits.

Deep inside, however, Solomon carried a broken heart. Beneath the drugs and the street life was a man longing for peace, purpose, and love, even though he did not know how to find it. Years passed, and the streets continued to drain his strength, health, and hope. Death or prison seemed like the only possible ending, but God had a different plan.

In a moment that would change Solomon’s life forever, help came through Sharon T. Sims, the CEO of Sharon Care Foundation SCF, when others saw him as a problem, she saw a person. Where others turned away, she reached out with compassion, patience, faith and consistent engagement and through the support of Sharon Care Foundation, Solomon was rescued from the streets and given a second chance at life.

The journey was not easy. Breaking free from addiction and street life required discipline, care, prayer, and time. Yet, with consistent support, counseling, and the love shown to him, Solomon began to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Most importantly, he encountered God in a personal way that has encounter to marked the true turning point of his life.

The man who once caused fear on the streets became a man on his knees in prayer, the mouth that once spoke anger and destruction now speaks hope and truth.

Solomon accepted Jesus Christ, and through that decision, his life has completely transformed.

Today, Solomon is no longer defined by drugs, crime, or the streets. He is a changed man, boldly preaching the message of God to others. He shares his testimony everyday to remind people that no one is too far gone, no matter how long they have lived in darkness.

His life now serves as a message to the hopeless, the addicted, and the forgotten that grace is real and restoration is possible.

From sleeping on the grass to standing in God’s grace, he continue to worship with the Zion Christian Fellowship church in kakata city Margibi County, Solomon’s story is proof that when love meets faith, miracles happen.

Through the vision and compassion of Sharon T Sims, CEO of the Sharon Care Foundation and the power of God, a broken life was restored, and a lost soul was found.

Truly, Solomon’s life is From Grass to Grace.
