Students leaving the Fendell Campus of UL will need to be extra careful when going home. Several students on their way home are being attacked by armed robbers.

Reports filtering from the campus of UL say, that one student, Yundeh A. Butler, was attacked by armed men. Yundeh while on her way home, was allegedly attacked by armed robbers and in the cycle of a fight, was robbed of her handbag and documents and wounded with a cutlass.

The armed men hurt her so badly that during their tussle, Yundeh got a brutal mark, scarring her face with fresh wounds. She is said to be a member of the Millennium Campus Fellow. Yundeh walked away from one building to another while going home. The Agriculture College is declared a no-go zone for students going to and fro. Students are advised to be extra careful when visiting campus especially since the campus is empty right now and 'logos' are beating and robbing so many students of their phones, handbags, money, and other stuff.

Liberty Party Political Leader Sen. Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence has vowed to speak over talks being held with political figures within the country.

Recently, many Liberians hoped that the Unity Party Standard Bearer Joseph Boakai would have chosen Sen. Lawrence as Vice Running for the pending elections, but that did not happened.

It has been speculated in the public that Senator Lawrence is holding talks with the Alternative National Congress (ANC) Alexander Cummings and other political parties to ensure a Vice running mate post is secured.

“As leaders, we are open to talking with everyone in public or privately, as we have always done. Under the prevailing circumstances, our decision will be guided by our principles and vision in the best interest of our country. We will speak up soon!”, Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence mentioned via her official page.

The ANC national convention is scheduled for Friday May 12, 2023, at which time they will announce a Vice running mate.
