Fellow compatriots, sons and daughters of the dejected and unemployed masses, tuition-striking students within our beloved community, members of the lumpenproletariat class, children of taxi drivers and kehkeh riders seeking quality tertiary education in our private schools found within our community’s, motorcyclists, teachers, Businessmen/women, Pre ooss Men; from the zenith of cerebral consciousness, I extend my revolutionary greetings.

I hear the call for change, and I accept the responsibility to lead with courage and compassion. Together, we will navigate the challenges ahead and create a brighter future for our beloved community 72nd.

I believe in the power of young voices and I'm ready to fight for the future we deserve. I'm vying for 72nd Youth President to be a champion for our community, to amplify our needs, and to make sure our voices are heard.

Let's join forces, stand together, and make our voices heard. This is our time to shape the future of our community!

Under our visionary and astute leadership, 72nd youth council will never be the same. We have gained the requisite experience; build our connections within and outside the community to change the dynamic of the how leadership works. As we progress to the heat of the process, we going to work with every young person across boundaries fostering our quest of togetherness and uniformity. Our community youth cannot be treated with grassy hope that lacks substantive reality to bring practical leadership. We are ever prepared to challenge the odds, create the platform to collaboration and unity to leave a lasting legacy among our compeers.

The Liberian Senate will resume the second session of the 55th Legislature on Monday, January 13, 2025.

The ceremony for the opening of the 2nd Session will be marked by parade of members of both Houses of the Legislature and hosting of their respective county flags.

The observance is in keeping with Article 32(a) of the Liberian Constitution which states: "The Legislature shall assemble in Regular Session once a year on the second working Monday in January."

Following the traditional formalities in keeping with the law, the Senators will proceed to the Senate Chamber and observe the official program.

During the program, President Pro-Tempore Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence will deliver an opening statement and set the Senate's agenda for the second session.

Pro Tempore Lawrence will also use the ceremony to outline accomplishments during the 1st session, to include legislations passed, confirmations, and other instruments in committee room, as well as expectations during the 2nd session.

Immediately after the Opening program, members of the Senate will join their counterparts of the House of Representatives for a reception which is expected to be graced by President Joseph N. Boakai, Vice President Jeremiah K. Koung, the Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court of Liberia, including other officials of government, members of the diplomatic corps, International partners, amongst others.
