Mike B. Jabateh calls for immediate Police intervention.

He writes writes ✍️ ✍️ 👇 👇

"I was attacked last night by a guy identified as Nush, who threatened to kill me for no reason. I reported the case to the Jacob Town Police Depot, but they could not arrest the individual. In fact, the individual impersonated an AFL soldier. The police officer who went to arrest him was beaten and verbally abused by the individual.

I am calling on the Liberia National Police to please send PSU officers to the Nekla Town Community in Jacob Town to arrest him this morning.

A few months ago, the same individual brutalized a pastor in the same community.

I want to remain a law-abiding citizen, and I am appealing to the Liberia National Police to intervene urgently before the situation gets worse.

Former District #8 Representative Gray responds to Rep Prince Aquency Toles

"Puff Daddy the trash you posted attributed to me is childish and foolish of you especially when you do a boldface lie. You are dangerously embarrassed due to your lack of understanding of your oversight to ensure that public schools in the district are conducive for learning.

Below is the latrine I did unlike what you posted that was done by the Bright family in the Rockspring Valley area for their private use. Try to do better Mr. Play Boy and focus on your oversight responsibility so that the market women children can have a conducive learning environment."

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday put forward four principles for the constructive participation of all parties in the settlement of hotspot issues in Africa, during his meeting with President of the Council of Ministers of Togo Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, who is on an official visit to China.

🔶First, adhering to the principle of "Africa-led." The African people are the true masters of Africa and should play a central role in regional affairs, Xi said.

🔶Second, upholding fairness and justice. All participating parties should abide by the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries concerned, he noted.

🔶Third, promoting ceasing hostilities for peace. Wars and unilateral sanctions cannot fundamentally resolve conflicts between countries. It is imperative to uphold mutual respect, conduct extensive consultations, seek common ground while shelving differences, and practice mutual understanding and accommodation.

🔶Fourth, addressing both symptoms and root causes. Efforts should focus on immediate security while planning for long-term development, Xi said.

Cllr. Gongloe demands answers from Joseph Boakai and the 55th Legislature

"MY MID-WEEK QUESTION TO PRESIDENT JOSEPH NYUMA BOAKAI AND MEMBERS OF THE LIBERIAN LEGISLATURE

President Boakai and Honourable Senators and Representatives: Why are you outsourcing the statutory functions of government agencies to foreign companies in ways that reduce public revenue and increase unemployment in Liberia?

Under Presidents William V. S. Tubman, William R. Tolbert Jr., Samuel K. Doe and Charles G. Taylor, the statutory functions of government agencies were not contracted out as concessions to foreign companies. Foreign experts were brought in to train Liberians, not to take over those functions. Why are you granting such concessions now, instead of investing in Liberians to perform these statutory responsibilities?

Before the civil war, Liberia had just two universities. Today, with over 50 universities and more qualified Liberians, should we not have greater capacity to manage our own affairs, retain public revenue and create employment for our people?

Mr. President and Honourable Lawmakers, our educational progress should translate into greater national capacity, stronger public finances and more Liberian jobs. Why are you taking Liberia in the opposite direction?

You owe the Liberian people an answer"

Other than UP and CDC: "Liberia needs a third lane", Former LCC President, Bishop Kortu Brown called out!

"Liberia needs a new lineup of sincere and professional Liberians who are genuinely interested in promoting the political, economic, social, and religious causes of the ordinary people. Liberia needs a third lane other than UP and CDC. Liberians must mean it when they say they want real change. Liberia does not need recycled, familiar faces ahead of 2029. Any new movement must offer genuine change.”

BREAKING:

Who borrowed US$12 million from GT Bank? Rep. Marvin Cole says over US$20 million has been siphoned while legislative staffers still earn US$75 in salary: “They are criminals”

“…We know those benefits are squandered. The Executive cannot be used as a protectorate for criminals. This national budget cannot be used to suffocate Liberians. President Joseph Boakai said he was going to prosecute criminals. Look at this very Legislature; he got individuals from here who have used the National Budget to amass wealth for themselves. These guys are criminals. Some are building condominiums all around. These people are criminals...I said Richard Koon to the last person. If Fallah is part of it, he is a criminal. If Richard Koon is part of it, he is a criminal. No, it is not only US$5 million that is not being accounted for. Representative Taa Wongbe is just talking about the tip of the iceberg. The House’s budget alone, they cannot account for US$4 million. Now, GT Bank is saying that we owe them US$12 million. It is confirmed. This is credible information. How are we owing US$12 million? How come? I have already written GT Bank. They have to publish those records to see who borrowed the US$12 million for us. We are not aware. The budget is being used as a tool to siphon money. Money Laundering is going on here. People are working here and still making US$75 per month. Yet, we are talking about a budget of US$1.2 billion. The budget is being weaponized against the Liberian people.” Representative Marvin Cole, District #3, B**g County
