Police Director writ..

Today, we officially dedicated the newly constructed Liberia National Police Depot in Beyan’s Town, Lofa County.

Special thanks to Hon. Thomas P. Fallah, Representative of District #1, Lofa County, for spearheading and funding this initiative. Your commitment to public safety and community development is commendable.

As we celebrate this milestone, I encourage other national leaders and stakeholders to follow this example. Strengthening law enforcement infrastructure is critical to upholding peace, enforcing the law, and protecting our communities.

On behalf of the Liberia National Police, I extend our deepest appreciation to H.E. President Joseph N. Boakai, Sr. for creating the enabling environment and continuing to prioritize national security and access to justice across Liberia.

Together, we are building a safer, stronger, and more secure nation.

CRY OF A SHATTERED SISTER

This is the main reason we are calling on all meaningful Liberians to join the Campaigns On August 7. That State " SAY NO TO DRUGS.

LUOPU SANDI SISTER TO HER BROTHER WRITE ✍️ 😭 😭

He was just a 14yr old teenager when the grip of drugs pulled him into a world he didn't deserve---a world that robbed him of his future, his joy and his identity. It's been 18yrs since what started as curiosity, peer pressure, bad influence or a way to escape pain, has now stolen his smile, his dreams, his freedom. This is not just a family tragedy; it is a loud alarm that something is terribly wrong in our society.

As a big sister, I am devastated and deeply angered that my younger brother---someone so full of potential, promise, life and light---has become a victim of illegal drugs. The pain my family and I are experiencing is beyond words. Over the years, we watched him stumble, struggle, suffer, change and lose every piece of himself because of substances that should never have been allowed to enter our community in the first place.

I condemn, in the strongest terms, those who manufacture, traffic and sell these dangerous substances. These are not just "drugs"---they are weapons silently destroying our youth, tearing families apart, and robbing our nation of its future. My brother's life has been altered, and my family is in immense pain because of the greed and cruelty of those who choose profit over people.

To those who continue to push this poison, I say: ENOUGH! You are ruining lives, hurting families and destroying futures. I hold you accountable for every tear, every sleepless night, and every broken dream. We will not be silent! We will not back down!

To the government, law enforcement, schools and community leaders: we need ACTION. Not tomorrow---NOW! PROTECT OUR CHILDREN! PUNISH THE GUILTY! HEAL THE BROKEN!

I love my brother deeply. I will never stop fighting for his recovery, for justice, and for a world where no other sister, mother or aunt has to feel this pain.

And YES, I wholeheartedly support the SAY NO TO DRUGS MARCH on August 7th! This is not just personal---it's a battle for every innocent soul caught in this nightmare.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LDEA Formally Charges and Forwards Quita Dolo Kosso to Court in US$181,008 Co***ne Case.

Monrovia, Liberia – July 21, 2025

The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has formally charged and forwarded suspect Quita Dolo Kosso to the RIA Magisterial Court following her arrest for trafficking narcotics into Liberia.

On July 12, 2025, Mrs. Kosso, a 39 year old Liberian national, was arrested upon arrival at Roberts International Airport (RIA) from Bangkok, Thailand, via Kenya Airways Flight at approximately 6:00 PM. LDEA officers discovered 3.355 kilograms of co***ne, with an estimated street value of USD $181,008.

While in custody, the suspect fell ill during preliminary investigation. On July 16, her attorneys, Cllr. Lafayette Gould and Julius R. Addy submitted a formal request for medical attention. The LDEA approved the request, and Mrs. Kosso was treated at JFK Medical Center, with medical records now filed with the Agency.

Suspect Quita Dolo Kosso was formally charged and on today, July 21, 2025, the LDEA forwarded suspect Kosso to court under the following provisions of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Liberia:

• Section 14.83 – Trafficking and Importation
• Section 14.85 – Sales, Distribution, Administration, Delivery, and Transportation
• Section 14.89 – Possession
• Section 10.2 – Criminal Conspiracy

These charges fall under non-bailable offenses as outlined in Liberia’s revised drug laws.

The LDEA remains firm in its mission to dismantle drug trafficking networks and calls on the public to allow the judicial process to take its course in the ongoing cases involving both Quita D. Kosso and Tony Obi.

To report drug-related activity, contact the LDEA Hotline: 0777-133-333

Together, we can build a drug-free Liberia.
