It’s time to talk about periods openly, boldly, and without shame, says Queen Veralyn Vonleh, Miss Liberia

This book is more than just my story—it’s a movement to break menstrual stigma, educate young girls, and encourage open conversations about periods.

How I felt when I first saw my period is a celebration of womanhood and a step toward a world where no girl feels embarrassed or unprepared for this natural journey.

Tribe! We want to make an SOS call to all of you and your friends and family. A few months ago we posted Miss Alicia Singbah as our Beauty of the Week (BOW). This pride of Liberia is now suffering from a serious disease in a foreign land and needs our help to get the necessary treatment.

So Friday please come out with a poster sheet and white shirt and blue jeans at the VAMOMA House in Sinkor. We will be doing a street fundraising for her.We’re starting 12:00noon to evening hours so you can join anytime from 12 noon till evening. Let's come together to save a future leader of Mama Liberia.

Stella Maris Polytechnic University recently won the Liberia National Inter-Universities Debate Championship (LNIUDC). Being the current champions in Liberia on university level, they are due in Togo 🇹🇬 this December 2023 for the Pan African Universities Debating Championship (PAUDC), but are facing financial constraints.

LNIUDC then thought it's wise to organize something to raise the funds needed for the trip; an event to support intellectualism. Tribe231 appeal to every reader of this post to please purchase fundraising event tickets. It's an all-night poetry performance event and you can trust it'll be fun and inspiring.
